John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park Camping Key Largo, FL - Best Key Lime Pie

In this video we make a brief 2 day stay at John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park in Key Largo, FL. Despite the cold, dreary weather we make the best of our stay here. John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park has much to offer. With swimming, snorkeling, scuba diving and a variety of other outdoor activities. If only the weather would have cooperated. We also search out one of Key Largo's famous Key Lime Pies. how was it? Check out the video.

We were in Key Largo 3 years ago for a beach wedding but really did not have time to do any exploring. Really like how you do the satellite zoom to show campground locations and then show the site map of the campground! Sorry we were not able to hook-up in January down there but looking forward to seeing y'all in May.

Jim, this place really is awesome. We got lucky just to get 2 days. Hard park to get into with only 47 sites available. But in the park alone there’s so much to do. But the weather refused to cooperate. Thanks for supporting the channel. We really appreciate it.

The Florida Keys are on our bucket list and can't wait to head there someday! There is more room in the park than we would have thought between the sites. Oh, Tiki bar!! We will definitely return to The Keys! Beautiful park but you definitely pay for it. The best Key Lime pie we’ve had so far was in Santa Rosa Beach area. Tucker would have eaten the whole pie if we let him. 😂 Safe travels to you as well.

$42 a night. Something we forgot to mention. The “no-see-ums were brutal. Even if you keep your window open, they come through the screen.
