John Myung is a realy dedicated bass player, just watch his DVD, he really knows what he's talking about, and you can see he gives a lot of importance to practice
@KazeReload15 жыл бұрын
Lol in every video I watched he is almost always sit somewhere playing his bass alone. You can check in the video before this, they all laugh in a room, then they go in the room with the downstairs and they just find a lonely JM playing xD. It happens in another old video too.. they just go in a house (I didn't undestand what exactly was cause I don't know the english so good :P), they all check the rooms and they just find JM in his room playing the bass again xD

JM played on a Pearce(?) bass amp, I think. Wasn't it modular in a way, with interchangeable modules, and wasn't JM using a module with a tube circuit in it? There's a lot of dist in the tone, with a lot of harmonics. I wish he had kept on with that crazy playing and sound... Billy Sheehan were using that amp, as I recall.. .

lol it looks like Myung was playing an Ernie Ball MM bass way back then. It's like he just came full circle.

In those old times, John Myung used to go in what we called "Ouside" where he could get some tan(around 2:00 on video). Now he is confined into a big vortex of Bass Guitare practicing and will soon explod in a giant string bass white skin tapping storm... To be continuied

I think it started with they mocking Dominici. I mean, why is that guy saying "thank you" after the song? They were there alone! One of the reason why Dominici was fired was because he was a weirdo. So they began mocking that but it turned into a fun jam.
