I met John at the beginning of the Images & Words tour in 1992 and after all the success, fame and accolades that have followed, he still seems to be the same down-to-earth guy who loves making music, genuinely appreciates his fans, acknowledges his heroes and speaks from the heart with no ego b.s. No wonder he’s so revered; it’s not just his otherworldly chops - he’s still one of us.

Petrucci is a class act! Regarding albums, I’ll stream most music these days but will buy physical copies of the albums I really like just to support the artist and look at the package. It’s nice when some bands still put some emphasis on the package and liner notes but I realize that comes with a cost and is not a priority. Anyway its really all about the music anyway, but you guys knew that already! ;-)

Have you guys thought about the possibility of Portnoy playing the 20th anniversary of SDOIT??? Now that they’re playing together again and possibly playing LTE shows in the future, I don’t see why that couldn’t be a possibility. I’m a fan of Mangini but that album was the best of Portnoy.

But then again, they played Space Dye-Vest and The Shattered Fortress which were also Moore's and Portnoy's song, so I'm still optimistic, that one they they might
