To this day this is not only my favourite piece of any comedy of any comedy special, but it's also just lovely how John Pinette smiled when a joke worked. He seemed so happy and proud.

Not to mention that this bit has been stolen by almost every single comic since! It really is just that good! Pull the joke apart or just use little hints of it. It’s a great story!

A N - I love ethnic humor! Almost as much as I hate PC BS. Almost as much as I hate race-baiting morons. Ethnic distinctions have always been the basis of naturally hysterical humor. And when it is well done, as in this case, it is good medicine. But some people thrive on taking offense. It empowers their tiny little egos.

I didn't know he died?? Wow R.I.P Mr Pinette. In this day and age, it's hard to make a true new friend that has your back. When I moved to this new town during my senior year, I had this friend who put me onto this, I remember I was down on myself one day so he offered me my first joint and put this guy's one stand up and that was back in 2012. To this day, I'm still tight with that friend and I still love smoking to this comedian, he goes up there with Chappelle, Chris Rock and Eddie Griffin for me.

I always liked this guy. I still laugh at his Asian Buffet routine. I sometimes copy it when I go to a buffet. My wife tells me to be quiet when I say...You been here 7 hour you go now. RIP funny man.

I miss him. I had the opportunity to see him once. I laughed so hard my sides hurt. I saw one of his older videos before I went to the show, and it was every bit as funny. R.I.P., John!

I only remember him from a great vigilante movie called the Punisher. I vaguely remember him from the Seinfeld final episode. However now that I see further examples of his talent, I can say he is even more talented than I realized.

Watching this reminded me of a local buffet I used to frequent several years ago. They actually had a sign up that said the maximum visit was limited to two hours. People would come and eat, bring a paper and hang out and then eat again a few hours later. Hilarious!

I just love this guy! I listen to this and others of his a few times every year. He never gets old. He is so endearing. Iconic. Like Beethoven's 5th Symphony - a timeless work of art. NOTE: Listening to the crowd laughter ebb and flow - it reminded me listening to the waves come in at the beach. And you HAVE to listen to his account of when they drove into Italy or dinner. Priceless. He died too young. Benny Hill too. R.I.P.

Yeah, PC culture is pretty stupid and has ruined things that brought people joy, but the sjw groups would rather have the only opinion about something and if you disagree they label you as a bigot or fascist.

Old comedy was funny because it was true. To EveryOne. Not permitted these days. Good news is that today you can tell as many lies as you want, and those that laugh will laugh nervously.
