I see him as the younger version of John Candy. I saw Candy as a favorite uncle, and watching his movies was like a family reunion that got good when THAT uncle arrived. The younger John was like a favorite cousin. I don't know what it is with the really big guys named John, but John Goodman is also a favorite, but he's not doing "cuddly" anymore. He was also family in the 90s.

John's performances, even now 3 years after his passing are still my go to standard for laughs, everytime! There are NO other comics out there today that can pull off his delivery style! Loved him as a person, as a comedian and an awesome human being. RIP John, RIP.

I came here because, I was watching the movie called ‘The Punisher 1994’ I quite liked how John acted in the film he’s funny ! And I’ve done abit of research about him. He’s such a funny comedian actor ! Awesome guy with great talent. The only saddest thing about John, I never knew he passed away in 2014 which one 6 years ago almost 7 years now, since its New Years next month. I was quite sad to see this. R.I.P May god bless you. Hope you’re having a good time in heaven. You will always be the best.

Indian music coming from the bathroom. South Indian here. I cannot stop giggling because that is spot on jab at North India, which we always lluuvvvv (and so relatable because North Indian cuisine is all chilli and butter and cumin, nothing else -- too spicy even for us).

John is the only comedian who put a permanent smile on my face every time I watched his shows, even if I've seen it before. Loved the guy.

Well Scampi is awesome. Shrimp, pasta, garlic, and lemon. It’s idiot proof and it tastes like heaven. What’s not to like?

@@cityhawk I'm reasonably confident butter is also involved. But still. yum.
