Kacey was very respectful in her accompaniment. Her voice is so powerful, and John's doesn't project like it did before the throat cancer. She just added a soft harmony on the refrain without overpowering him. I love to see these "passing of the torch" duets, like John playing with Sturgill Simpson at the 2016 Grammy Awards.

Shortly after John's passing, a Danish friend who doesn't like country music, said to me: hey, you ever heard John Prine's songs? Nope, I haven't, who is him anyway? Better find him on youtube, so I did and instantly became hooked for life to John's masterpieces and great sense of humor . Shame I didn't find him in the early years when I though the Brothers Four, The Kingston Trio, Jim Reeves, Hank Williams and and few more were all that existed to country music. It was in Spain, I was 21 and it was 1961. Had to wait for 50 years to be told about the existence of John Prine. Even people who don't like country music are aware of John Prine's greatness.
