John Prine Tribute Tønder Festival 2019

When John Prine due to illness cancelled Tønder Festival 2019 a lot of the musicians at the festival helped us by doing the most wonderful John Prine Tribute Concert. It was an absolutely magical
Night.

Wow! That version of Angel from Montgomery by the Ryan Mcmahon Band gave me goose bumps. It was the first time I heard their version. It sounded like a grieving rock song. Great! Congrats to all the artists. John Prine is smiling from heaven smoking his 9- mile long cigarette!

Beautiful concert with lovely versions of classic Prine. The announcer mentions Chicago, The Fifth Peg and a few other phases like ‘strip mining’ us Americans understand. I love how the rest of the world learns to speak other languages, so impressive.
