My sister used to sing this to me back in the day, then we used to discuss what we would do when we were little old ladies. I am that little old lady on my own. My sister passed away nearly 40 years ago - if we'd only had time.

The greatest singer I have ever heard . I said it when I first heard his voice all those decades ago . He is still the best . This wonderfully talented man should have been a huge international mega star . His voice has richness, and power, and a spirit in it that connects you to it and to him. That's something Jones and Humperdinck, good as they are, just simply don't have . The only other singer on this planet that had that mysterious quality too was ELVIS . John Rowles and Elvis were two men who were gifted from above . Your lucky to see that kind of talent once in a lifetime , we got it twice . What different paths their lives took though. Perhaps John was the fortunate one because he is still with us today . No global mega stardom and no riches beyond measure , but he is still alive and well and happy with a good and faithful wife and family . Money is an enormous asset, but it wont buy you what's important in life . You can have the finest house , but it wont buy you a home . You can have the finest bed, but it wont buy you sleep , and you can eat the the finest of foods but it wont buy you an appetite and you can have the most beautiful girl by your side , but it wont buy you love . Yes , I think John was the lucky one . I still listen to this man's amazing voice today. What a talent he was and is . Thank you for this video .
