Of course she has popularity like the others, but her fame itself is reasonably less positive: She is intellectual and treats certain situations with sarcasm, some people think she has a grand ego and feels superior just because 'she reads a lot' ; She has a strong personality, it's easier to deal with John, Dave and Jade than with Rose. People see her talking and roll their eyes, ignore the important monologues she makes, I sure hated reading Rose's parts, and... It hurts. She do have feelings! Just goes to show how much of a kind soul they are.* But jeez, this animatic really does hit hard!!! This does as well as a job explaining John's character as well as your "I'm still here" animatic for Karkat, did with his. Which would be very well!! This shows *exactly* what Egbert must've felt like, when trying to help out his friends. Whether it be during the comic, or the Epilogue. John always was trying to be there for his friends more than anything, but as you clearly show Mushie..he can't. And that's something that he always struggled with, both in a doomed timeline and one that he currently resided in. It's clearly taken it's toll on him. Since he's been through it all, and he's basically the only one who remembers it, as well as affected most by it. John is indeed this precious figure, since all he wanted in life was to help. And there are so many examples in which it backfired, that I'm Surprised he kept it going for so long. Like jeez he's as tragic of a character as he is relatable. And your animatic did a great job of reminding us this. Man, John really did need all the help he could get, even if he'd disagree and think otherwise. :(

they were 13 i- ARGHHH. the fact that john and karkat had to grow up, just to watch all of their friends die, is so surreal and heartbreaking. john especially feels like it's his fault for starting literally all of this- it was his birthday, his game, his friends. in reality, sburb is a ticking timebomb (quite literally) centered around ending the universe. it wasn't these kids fault, and they didn't start it either- but they don't KNOW that. the only ones that do are prince and time players (minus dave) so dirk's anime supervillian arc is even harder to watch because dirk KNOWS everything he does doesn't really matter in the grand scheme of the scratch. the kids have no idea that nothing they do will change things, so they try their damnedest to make their session successful. what really sticks out to me is dave's part, where john is BREAKING because he now has god tiered and knows how broken dave feels. dave in the midst of being abused by his brother, something he can't control and john, in a metaphorical sense, feels like he's being abused by the session. this entire animatic is horrifying to think about, because in john's mind, he knows saving his friends doesn't matter. they're all going to die, and get hurt and be traumatized- but even so, he knows about rosemary and davekat. he knows that jade will eventually grow to love herself and accept who she is, and he just wants everyone to live for that. SORRY FOR THE MINI THEORY RANT HAHA! this is a fantastic animatic and really showcases how amazing these characters can be to analyze! thanks for being a god mushie

Don't forget that John being Godtier *also* means, that he already died once. It always seemed one of the most fucked up things in this story to me, that these literal children had to walk more or less knowingly into their own death to be reborn as Godtier. That isn't healthy in the least. And also it means that he is urging his friends here not to die, fully knowing, that very soon he'll probably have to lead them to their death, even though it's only so that they'll achieve Godtier. Saving them only so that they can die again. And last, but not least - he has the Retcon-Powers. Which means, that he made a trip into one of the spirit bubbles.And that he'll probably know that every single one of them who dies, every single one he couldn't save, in any timeline, won't even get their rest, won't be reborn, and just aimlessly wander around as a spirit. It's really unpleasant for poor John.

god uve matured so much as an artist and it really really shows june TvT like??? the angles are more precise and the emotions are not just impactful and full of emotion but communicative of a certain intent : u and also,, every reveal of which kid was going to jump next really hit me and i love how it happens at an almost abrupt pace,, just like how it can feel when u find out a friend is contemplating this,, it really puts u into the shoes of john, someone’s who’s also struggling but trying to stop his friends from making the same decisions he wants to : c and also like,, i love how u represented each of the kids and their varying issues and how they were affected by them,, jades loneliness, roses insecurity and longing and daves emptiness and despair, just wishing for a better home life : ( and aaa how jade and rose sort of kind of ‘jumped’ and how john teleported away (the animATION 👌),, it really shows that no matter how seemingly unproblematic ur life and issues may be, anyone can be driven to suicide and not everyone can be stopped : < it honestly brought me to tears Dx!!!!! and also?? i love the animations at the bridge and all the other times, they’re so sparse but they make this extra FEELING that just adds to ur already wrecked emotional state and it’s just so GOOd but also : ‘ ) and love how u showed the desperation of johns running animation ((with SO much emotion even when it was LITERALLY JUST A SILHOUETTE!!!)) as he tried to help others while dealing with problems of his own, it really helps connect that close up of his face ;;; and also when john finally breaks down,, its honestly heartbreaking and the pause bits are so much more significant because it’s like when johns heart stopped for a second when he was yelling at dave not to do it : c it really breaks my heart because both of them are so VULNERABLE and i am in TEARS, daves mask of neutrality under bros shades and johns anger melting away into a sincere wish to make all of his friends’s problems go away just sends me Dx!!!!!! and it makes us all even more tense about whether john is going to jump,, and u timed the execution so well with mspa reader saving him, u almost think he’s going to succeed but then reader comes and saves the day and honestly that’s?? so great we love that ;w; june u are an utter blessing to this fandom thank u for the tears and the amazing art qwq

You fuuuuu.... that hit me like a truck. Especially after rereading Homestuck to finally get into that second season of Homestuck, that song fits all too well.... John Egbert’s whole story is just seeing many of his friends die and at the end.... you know how it goes. If he fell down just like in this animation, he can’t finish the story with everything all tied up. You’re a blessing and I love you and your work. Pls do your best to live in this world. You are a wonderful human being.

I've been following you since before the first my r animatic and just seeing how much your art has improved is so cool!!! My favourite part of your art might be how you draw noses???
