200k per month is not child support, in this unique case it's not even "her-support" because she doesn't need financial assistance. Read a book called "The friend of the court is the enemy of the family" by Carol Rhodes a former court employee to see who are the real beneficiaries of these child support orders. There is a such thing as 'shared economic responsibility' that their attorneys should have advised them on. I disagree with Vlad, that Kanye got off easy as if he wanted a punishment. The financial aspect of child support should be governed outside of the courts because courts are designed to punish criminals and torts. Why is it that the male is always the one punished? Even if your a mother of six children, three boys, and three girls can you be honest and say that only your boys made mistakes? So why is it that courts believe that only males make mistakes? There should be a system in place that awards children without punishing parents, and the award doesn't go to the custodial parent beyond the needs of the child because you don't have to be a genius to see that support in excess is usually pocketed by the mother. Anything that she pockets is misappropriation of funds. How many millions of American kids get to be adults and don't have college tuition because their mothers pocketed child support money? How many Americans are in college debt after having child support orders? The courts could have structured the support order in such a way that a percentage went towards college tuition, percentage towards retirement accounts. If the courts did these they would relieve student debt, and social security, health care but they function with a feminist agenda intended to punish fathers and reward mothers that ultimately hurts the tax payers.
