Part 2: • John Salley Cries when...
---------
John Salley came through for another VladTV interview, and he started things off on a somber note by speaking about the recent passing of his mother, Maisey Salley, who was 96. John added that he kept his mother alive an extra 15 years after introducing her to a holistic lifestyle that helped her lose 15 pounds. He went on to reveal that he and his brothers spoke and the funeral and John added that he deals with grief by making jokes that make him smile about the person. To hear more memories from John about his mother, hit the above clip.

Loosing a parent, no matter what age, is one of the most painful things you can go through. I know from experience. But, his mother lived a full life. 96 is incredible.

How someone passes and all the circumstances really affect how you feel and deal. My dad died slowly of cancer. We had time with him. Time to process and heal as we went. But my m9m passed suddenly and it was a shock feeling ill never forget. It took years to get past. Kobe was talented yes...but he was also a huge huge light. Doing big things, a young family, a 20 year marriage. At 41! He was making changes in the world.

I've always liked John. He seems like a good guy. Know what I mean? He's laid back. Easy flow when he speaks. He doesn't have to substitute cuss words for just regular words. Ppl who have to cuss a lot usually don't have much of a vocabulary. John seems to be a very intelligent guy.
