I found out that I am not as young as I think I am. My daughter was looking at cars to buy. She looked at one car that I thought looked good. She straight up said they wanted too much for a 10 year old car. She reminded me that cars made in 2000 were over 20 years old. She ended up buying a 1984 Chevy.

That's the problem with the younger generation today. Music like this they don't care about cuz they haven't lived it yet. Even a radios don't even play the greats any longer. They're all new and I don't even know half of them. In their country music don't sound good like it used to they don't have much meaning. You are right this is one of the best heartfelt songs that I've heard in a long time which is the truth. I can smell a hit for Mr John Snyder. Will be the first in a long while he needs a publish it someone needs to publish it so it can get out there and make this man some money. Reason being I looked up his Network and it said only $200,000 and that was only a few months back. That's not a lot of money for a man that's a superstar. But I think a lot of it's because he does his own publishing of his own movies. Other than the dukes. When they took the dukes off the air because of the flag I think they all stop getting money from it. Snyder needs to publish this one somehow to get it on the radio so we can get his royalties. Or all his fans need to buy from him and make his own money from us fans. Cuz I always see him advertising through Facebook. Facebook ain't really the way to go. But he is getting reconsition again. You go John. Congratulations on this beautiful song

I listen to this...and ponder. My husband passed away last year at age 56. Oh if we both were younger again...you know, regret is a sad thing. Live your lives as if you'll die tomorrow. I mean, live them with love for your friends and family, because you may NOT get that chance for a do-over. The happy memories I have of my sweet Robbie...I wish I had more of them- I wish we had the 40+ years we promised each other back when we first met. Instead, we had 12 beautiful years. COPD is a horrible thing. Be kind to yourselves and to one another. May God bless you all.

Well, I thought I had sent a comment, but I’m not sure. I think I erased it on accident so here’s the second attempt. From a fellow military brat born approximately a year after you [in Nürnberg Germany] into a Christian family and a family of singers. We are a special breed, those of us blessed enough to have lived life as a military brat. I wanted to thank you for being so incredibly raw and honest while sharing such a devastating loss. I pray that you find a smile on this side of Heaven that warms your heart and fills the space until you meet with your Alicia again. I don’t know and can’t imagine what people who don’t know the Lord go through in times of loss. This side of Heaven is full of wonder and so much pain, emotionally and physically. How amazing it is to know that we will live an eternity on the other side without Pain, without tears , and without heartbreak. May God continue to be with you and bless you until you make your journey back to your smile the smile that fills your heart. God’s blessings! Christi (Kaufmann)

😲 WOW!!! What a Great and Relevant song for a loved one!!!...I have been following and listening to your country music since I was 5yrs old... For my 6th birthday, after surviving a coma and spinal meningitis, my parents surprised me with tickets to see you in concert at the Loyd Noble center in Norman, Oklahoma, along with Alabama...my FIRST and still my favorite concert Ever.. my dad stood in line, so I could meet you after the concert, my hero, who got me thru my darkest hour,..when it was finally my turn, I was so shy, I asked you to sign my concert button and my jeans...you took a picture with me, told me happy birthday, and kissed me on the cheek..it was then, I asked you to Marry Me!!! Lol.. you said I was to young and you would wait for me...I was bragging for years about how I was gonna Marry John Schneider and I would drive the General Lee to school and sing country music with you every night... I miss that kind of innocence...😊... I never got married, never wanted kids, but the good Lord see fit to put 2 boys into my life, when their world was being turned upside down...its been 5 yrs now, and I can't imagine my life without them...Love them to pieces....So, Mr. John, Thanks for ALL you do, my adoptive kids LOVE your Faith based movies and music... Keep up the good work, the Lord definitely has big plans for you... and P.S... I'm still available...lol...😁🧡

I’m only 16. I’ve been watching Dukes since maybe five years old. That was my childhood. Bo Duke, was my childhood. This song speaks to my country soul.

You were part of my growing up in the 70’s and I loved your TV show. And as you aged along with me I loved all your other shows. You are part of a lot of lives John and we all luv you.
