45 years later and still talking about the Dukes of Hazzard, that's amazing. But it was one of the best shows ever made, and there were also those other iconic series from the 80's like The A-Team and Knight Rider. What a decade that was growing up as a teenager. Pure nostalgia !!

But he never offered to die on a cross to save us from our sins. We all deserve hell and then the lake of fire on judgement day. 1 John 2:15-17 New Living Translation 15 Do not love this world nor the things it offers you, for when you love the world, you do not have the love of the Father in you. 16 For the world offers only a craving for physical pleasure, a craving for everything we see, and pride in our achievements and possessions. These are not from the Father, but are from this world. 17 And this world is fading away, along with everything that people crave. But anyone who does what pleases God will live forever. James 4:4 New Living Translation 4 You adulterers! Don’t you realize that friendship with the world makes you an enemy of God? I say it again: If you want to be a friend of the world, you make yourself an enemy of God." Mark 8:36 New Living Translation 36 And what do you benefit if you gain the whole world but lose your own soul?

Like so many others, my greatest memories of this show have everything to do with family. I'm the yougest of 5. I'll never forget the entire family gathering around to TV just for the Dukes.

Such fond memories of sitting in my grandparents living room watching the Dukes of Hazzard on Friday nights. CBS had a fantastic tv lineup back then on Friday nights. Then get up Saturday morning and watch Bugs Bunny cartoons for about 3 or 4 hours. Great times to be a kid.

I just turned 60 and the Dukes of Hazzard was really an influence in my life. Small town boy that was a bowhunter and loved NASCAR/Muscle cars and a huge Waylon Jennings fan. Still watch the shows to this day when they are on.

There aren't too many stars from this series alive anymore. Sorrell Booke, Denver Pyle, Peggy Rae, James Best, Waylon Jennings and Don Colley just to name a few. God bless them, and the rest of the wonderful actors/actresses that were in this show. It's great to see these three still getting together, keeping the memories alive.

They had nothing to do with telling others about Jesus Christ or salvation through trusting in him for the forgiveness of your sins. Making people happy has nothing to do with salvation. If it did then there was no need for Christ to die on a cross for our sins. 1 John 2:15-17 New Living Translation 15 Do not love this world nor the things it offers you, for when you love the world, you do not have the love of the Father in you. 16 For the world offers only a craving for physical pleasure, a craving for everything we see, and pride in our achievements and possessions. I was there, I was standing back next to the double doors that you walk through to get into this room. So if anyone was there, I was wearing a shirt from the Fall Guy TV show. The cast members were talking about Boss Hogg's speed traps. one other country singer acted on the show. Mr. Mel Tillis and soon-to-be Mrs. Dorthery Best. I was going to raise my hand and say that. but time had run out. I had a wonderful time at this event, I had a great time talking with "My Friends" Tom Wopat, Catherine Bach, John Schneider, and others. The lead actor who played BJ Mckay was there and I had a great time chatting with him throughout the show on Sunday. I'll be uploading my video on Retro-Con 2023 some time in the near future So keep your eye's open for it. I'll add some of the photography I took there. I have a few rare photos you'll want to see.
