How great that such a real gentleman could achieve what no one will ever repeat. Also how tragic to think the little Henry followed in his father's footsteps only to be killed so pointlessly.

He certainly was one of the best riders/drivers of all time. Far better than any of todays stars. No one will equal his record of winning both motorcycle and motorcar world championships.

Thank's Keith absolutely shameful of the lack of recognition that John Surtees got, they seem to give out knighthoods like smarties to people have had 5 minutes of fame these days.

At the end of the video John is holding his son Henry who was killed in a Formula two accident at Brands Hatch in 2009 at the age of 18.

Aw, poor Henry. Very interesting, and nice, to see Jackie and John together, they were far from friends when they raced together!
