John Turturro is one of those underrated actors who makes every project he is associated with better. I love him. "Unstrung Heroes" is one of my favorite movies.

My mom grew up with John Turturro's family (they were her neighbors on the lower east side for many years) and as a family we've followed John's acting career for many years. He's incredibly talented and has an amazing character range he can pull off! Excited to see where he goes from here. His cousins and siblings are all wonderful actors as well!

John Turturro was easily one of the best aspects of The Batman, which says a lot considering the whole film was terrific! By far the superior interpretation of Carmine Falcone.

You must must see him in Severance. He absolutely owns the screen for the last three episodes of season 1. so incredibly moving. A great show that builds in tension and suspense, worth watching for turturros performance alone. i cannot recommend it enough.

Tuturro's acting in that clip at the start is the thing that I've seen so far (apart from the upside down walking away from fire shot, to be fair 😅) that has gotten me the most excited for The Batman. ♥ me some JOHNNY TUTS! 😂

It's funny because the Batman Animated Series (that was meant for children!) was drenched in film noir yet the movies barely tapped into that.

Luckily I went down the list of Coen Bros movies and discovered Barton Fink a few years ago. John’s performance was a tour de force ! Too bad it flopped at the box office, but they loved it at Cannes and gave him the Best Actor award.

You got that right ! I'm hoping he'll be given the lead in Universal's upcoming musical remake of 1966's "The Ghost & Mr Chicken". Though I think it will go to Hugh Jackman, in light of his past experience in musical theater. Word on the street is that the role just may even be the one to bring Daniel Day Lewis out of retirement ! Attaboy, Luther, indeed !!
