My mom grew up with John Turturro's family (they were her neighbors on the lower east side for many years) and as a family we've followed John's acting career for many years. He's incredibly talented and has an amazing character range he can pull off! Excited to see where he goes from here. His cousins and siblings are all wonderful actors as well!

You must must see him in Severance. He absolutely owns the screen for the last three episodes of season 1. so incredibly moving. A great show that builds in tension and suspense, worth watching for turturros performance alone. i cannot recommend it enough.

Luckily I went down the list of Coen Bros movies and discovered Barton Fink a few years ago. John’s performance was a tour de force ! Too bad it flopped at the box office, but they loved it at Cannes and gave him the Best Actor award.

Though I think it will go to Hugh Jackman, in light of his past experience in musical theater.
