Can't believe JW is 70... He looks like 40 ! One of the greatest and most recognizable voices in rock ever. You hear two notes and you know it's him.

JW can be singing any of his songs around a campfire’s crackling light, on a 10 dollar guitar , and it will sooth my soul. Glad I’m 58 and grew up on his ( and all of the other memorable legends of the time) work🙏🏻👌🏽.

Great video. Jon Waite super underated had hits with 2 great bands and his longest lasting hit and biggest hit as a solo artist Missing You truely a timeless classic. I am sure Rick Springfield was great as well. It's funny there are still so many people who think he is an actor who sang songs. He had a solid career in Australia as a musician prior to coming here were he had to start over and General Hospital just happened to be the vehicle that got his music career going here and it's been a great long career talented musician

Thank you for posting this. We went to this show specifically to see John. I haven't seen JCW since 1985, Star Palace in Fresno- Supporting Ignition. Loved his set last night...Impressive! With his catalog, Waite could have definitely headlined this show...{I'm dreaming.. full band, strings and the Babettes ;-) } So many awesome songs... Left us wanting sooo much more last night. Great voice still. Whole Lotta Love propelled him over the top. Somebody please start a BABYS/WAITE tribute band!! "WE'RE all UNION JAAAAAAAAACKS!!!!!"

One of the best vocalists and lyricists in the business...70 is just a number...like Sammy Hagar...John Waite gets even better with age....must be his English origins and blood. Wish he would return to the UK for a gig or two...the concert at Rogerthorpe Manor in 2011 was an highlight of my music memories...outstanding live and recorded....looking forward to seeing the documentary....hopefully it will be released on the UK and Europe...until then I've bought a copy from the US....long may JW continue.....such a professional.

The voice of John Waite has not changed much since he was in Bad English. This acoustic arrangement adds another point to his artistry. Like discovering another point on a diamond 💎 👌 Nashville has done good for John Waite. 🤠

There are two vocalists from my youth that had major impacts and influences on my life and John is one and the other is Steve Perry. And it's hatd to believe that John is 70 years old now and Steve is 74. My my...time has flown by so fast, but I am so glad that they're still around bringing their music to us normal folks. Their music helped me get through some of the toughest times on my life and I am forever grateful for what they did.

He probably doesn't have the rights to the song since it was written by Jack Conrad and Ray Kennedy. Since he co-wrote "Midnight Rendezvous", that's probably why he performed that Babys song instead.
