BRILLIANT ... so, for once, I actually did exactly as John told me ... using measurements by weight (or Whaite !! see what I did there?) ... and the result was so 'pillowey' and luxurious ... best pancakes I have ever made. AND ... I copied what John did ... he manoeuvred the pan with one hand a poured the mixture with the other ... thus one gets exactly the right amount in the pan every time. TOTAL SUCCESS. Thank you x

Impeccable recipe John!!! What ingredients would you use to do a low carb, low cholesterol batter? I want to do this to my father but he has some health conditions. Thanks again and keep the videos coming!

Might need to stock up on flour, Ukraine alone stands for 10% of the world market of wheat... I'll try some tomorrow 😋

These look very like crepes to me 🤔😜.......... 🤗

Crepes are usually thinner. These are traditional English/British pancakes. Maybe you're used to American pancakes that use a raising agent or self raising flour to get them to be thicker and fluffier and are sweetened?

@@susanhall9871 Susan, I am used to pancakes in Scotland, about a half inch thick. I have even made them on a griddle, given to me by my old auntie Mary. I confess I make mine a lot sweeter than hers were. Also hers used to rise more than mine. I always struggle keeping the griddle at an even temperature. 😜

@@Pennyburn1688 I've made these - In England they can be called them Scotch pancakes ( I appologise for the name) or drop scones. They are delicious.

@@susanhall9871 "Scotch".... 😱?.... Surely not...... That will definitely not please Nikla Sturgeon. I have heard she is very keen on a pancake and a wee glass of Irn Bru, during Independance Strategy meetings. This will surely exacerbate the situation!......"We're doomed", as Fraser, would have said. 😜
