I think the best way to balance them is to just make their durability exactly the same. No stronger and no weaker cars.

Players have to deal the killing blow and since he hit his own spikes he got invincibility frames from the cinimatic thus avoiding EMP

Kind of like how ramming walls decreases health, but will not result in wrecking the vehicle when damage is critical.

it gives you so when you are in a cutscene it doesnt wreck you but will decimate your health and you will die if you get rammed or jammed by jammer but luckily that didnt happen
