I live here in Florida , which is Mr.Anderson's home state , and have had a few chances to see him perform . I've even met the man once at a festival down here in Brooksville called Super Ride . It's a weekend long equestrian event , where there are live concerts going on throughout the night . I'm not sure if it is still a thing or not , as I went between probably 1999 or 2001, can't really remember that we'll . Anyhow , he was a very nice man and he sounds as good live as he does on the radio , which is a rare thing .= )

Its good tunes, I like country, people say why you like country!? I like hip hop and metal. But today country is using slide guitars amd banjos, where pop doesnt. Its similar music but country is more ooen to new ideas. Yet old school twangin geetars and fiddle solos, I love that shit

I remember this song being played on everybody's radios while my brother and I were playing with our toy boats in a ditch-creek. Y'all remember those really cool truck and bass boat combo sets they sold? Had a little motor on the boat that actually worked. Anyway, I was proud of my bass boat whenever he mentioned it in this song..because I was too young for love. That new model z-28 had just come out to though and it was amazing looking. I'm sure I wanted that though. This was in Texas right after the Oilers lost epically to the Bills..and it still hurts. Anyway I hope Florida appreciates John Anderson like everybody I know in Texas does.
