I will master buttering this season after watching this. I just picked up a Never Summer Protoslinger as well. My Burton custom was way too stiff for this.
@ryanm73658 ай бұрын
i prefer my stiffer camber boards for my butters, gives me bigger pop in and out plus i feel more locked in. Reverse can be nice to learn but you want to evolve into a camber power board, way better for the high-speeds as well.

Might be easier to learn the basics on a non-camber soft board, but I have yet to see anyone buttering a non-camber board enter and exit butter tricks super cleanly in a carve with a clean track in and out on a non-camber board. They just don't lock in an edge that well. A good drill you can try is to butter a 3 one direction lock it in then butter a 3 the other direction instantly spinning both ways under 2-3 seconds or so. The lack of a platform to spin from without locking in the edge won't let you stop and start the spins as quickly.

That clip I got of you catching an edge still hurts every time I see it. Yikes.

YOU HAVE TO COME BACK TO WASHINGTON AND SKI WHITE PASS! its one of the most fun places to ski and is the best in Washington. And i also recommend hitting up some other smaller Washington resorts.

what's your stance? always riding 15/15 as wide as possible on a nitro gullwing but wanna try something new on a camber. Thx mate keep it up

Hey i am rocking the Same Board, also Riding 15/15 but Not as wide as possible, do you feel comfortable with the widest Stance ? Anyway i think 15/15 is the best way to go in terms off switch riding/ fun Riding and so on, read alot and i find that 15/15 is the best. You should try a shorter Stance, it gives you more flexibility over Ur Board, but you lose a little Bit of Stability when going fast for example, but turns feels so much more responsive and nicer

Bro I have a 2012 flat top board. Iam an intermediate rider, Iam thinking to buy a new board the burton custom 2024 Flying V. Flying V is a good option for butter tricks? Or its difficult one? (I like how colorful the board is)

Hey Jonathan, I’m looking to buy a new snowboard this year, would you recommend a reverse camber, or just a camber, especially for park riding? Thanks

What happens if you have a big belly? 🤔 I can't balance because my bell is too big. Tell me how I can do it beside telling me to loose some weight. Amazing video as always. I learn from you.

Honestly it will help you more because you have more weight to put into those presses 🤙🏼
