There's a couple hooks that I really like with this technique, and it this rig always works better with a round bend but the Hyabusa Cover Shot hook size depends on plastic but it's awesome for this same technique as well. And I'm in AZ we literally always have a drop shot tied on down here it's something us natives know like the back of our had.

Dude awesome explanation...And I just checked out those kits..Man awesome it makes it so much easier for someone like me who is just getting back into Bass fishing again to be able to purchase a starter kit and look to have confidence without spending a ton of money on multiple types of baits and terminal tackle.

Thanks for the doing this video on power drop shotting. I've bought your quiver baits in the 2 sizes. I was thinking it would be a great technique not only in finding bass but a follow up technique if you use other baits to find a school and use it as a clean up bait. Great info.on this video.

I have a hard time slowing down when I fish because I usually fish shallow water and hence use a lot of power fishing baits and techniques. This however is one slower technique I'll have to try for those skinny water fish. Thanks for the video!

We define powershotting very different than what ive known. This is more punch shotting and pitching at cover while power shotting is when your more swimming the bait and covering deeper water on the bottom. Maybe they have another name for it

@@JohnCrews spent way to much time looking into other forms of dropshotting and i guess it falls under swim shotting (swimbait on a normal drop shot) and a toyko rig setup. Either way i do it often and lets say it works but i was looking for new baits for it
