In fairness to the concrete saw, the amazon page says you need a 32 amp breaker. "Note: It is recommended to perform cutting operations at 32A current. (When the current is 15A, the single cutting depth should not exceed 50mm (2""). If a cut of greater than 50 mm (2"") is required make several passes)" 3.2kW at 110v, obviously requires more than 20A.
@timothybayliss668013 сағат бұрын
That's kind of weird. You need a tt30 or l5-30 for that. The cord on it isnt 10awg either
@FreelancerFreak12 сағат бұрын
That's a massive breaker. Only specialty industrial places would have a breaker that large.
@schwuzi8 сағат бұрын
@@timothybayliss6680It's probably meant for 230V countries. The standard outlet in Europe is 230V/16A, so it should easily handle that thing.
@Pgroenbech4 сағат бұрын
@@FreelancerFreak maybe ? In the EU 32/50/63 Amp 3 phase isn't that uncommon. 3.2 kW is a single phase 16A fuse here, if it isn't continuous load, which i assume the saw is not rated for, anyway. Electric car chargers are sometimes 32A, add a bit of spare load for the house, and you need a 50A breaker.
@Pgroenbech4 сағат бұрын
@@timothybayliss6680 I mean, the saw is probably not great quality, and respect for american power standards probably wasn't at the top of the spec sheet. A guy on the french amazon page seems to have measured some kind of current on the saw to 40A (presumably at 230v)

John, That Milwaukee is a real brushed Milwaukee drill! The reason it didn't come in a box and was cheap is because it typically comes with bundles, chargers and batteries. The person selling these are probably selling the tools from bundles. My last job supplied these and they were good for basic things but when you are building electrical panels for automation machines, the Milwaukee drill gets extremely hot when you're drilling like 300 pilot holes. I bet that is 100% legit.

You often have to tap the end of a 7018 rod to knock off the flux at the tip or it won’t start. Companies usually sell grinders with a lock on switch, or no lock on switch. I never buy one with a lock on. If it jerks out of your hands, it will stay on at anywhere from 7,000 to 11,000 rpm while bouncing around possibly causing people or material damage. You would have to get to the cord and pull it. Otherwise it’s too dangerous to be in the room with. If there’s a manual with the Vevor machine, I would advise reading it. One reason heavy battery tools are becoming so popular is because big batteries can deliver more power than a wall outlet, unless it’s 240 volts. As others here mentioned, a 20 amp circuit isn’t enough for this. And why would you put the GFI and connectors in the line of fire to be hit by the water spray? I read reviews on Amazon from people who have no idea what they’re doing. They buy the wrong tool for the job and don’t bother reading what the page for the tool says.

So since Milwaukee is having their Black Friday deals I have been snagging up tools when I can and have done so much research I might as well be employed by them at this point. 2 statments you made at the beginning there: 1. My 4-in-1 came straight from Home Depot and the Milwaukee sales rep was on sight so I doubt it's a scam tool. It had the belt clip already attached. I think you should clarify that they don't come on FULL SIZED tools but the M12s that have special clips do. And it could have been a return and the store is not going to take the clip off before putting it back on the shelf (unused tools will get put back on the shelf, I've watched). The key is that the Milwaukee tools have an annodized layer that gives them a bronze tinted finish. If it doesn't have that specific feature, that tool will not accept the Milwaukee belt clips tgey sell and is fake. 2. Milwaukee still sells brushed motors. A good example right now is the oscillating tools. In M12, the one currently on sale 2426-20 is a brushed motor, sorry to tell you. Milwaukee is all about the sale too so they are not discounting brushless motors that much, that's what Ryobi is for. Even the one you get when you buy the M18 battery or drill kit, 2626-20, is also the brushed motor. The brushless is about $70 more expensive as well as the 2526-20 and is full price on their website, look it up. Only thing you get is a free 2.5ah battery but still same price. Moral of the story though is the same, check your tools before buying.

On a grinder, you know you don’t need the tool to take the discs on or off. all you have to do is get it to where the grinder nut is touching,Grab the blade and snug it up. It’ll tighten up on its own if you do it that way you should be able to loosen it without the tool. I did it that way for 15+years and had zero errors/blade flying lol

7018's tend to burn into the coating,,and usually work better with higher OCV welders (higher voltage output for a given current) Try it again with a 6013. That should solve the restart issues. And the grinder reviewer could have mistakenly bought 125mm discs (which is the most used small size in Europe), whereas this one is made for 4.5 inch/115mm discs judging by the included disc.

14:00 minutes, the Danger Ranger! Also, I have that stick welder. I purchased it from Temu and it actually works really well. I have a couple of really nice welders that I paid over $1000 for that offer stick welding and I also have plasma cutters, stud welders and spot welders so I am very fimiliar with welders. With that said, I have used this thing a few times for little jobs that I don't want to have to pull the big boys out for and it works really well. It's a typical stick welder, so you have to understand that you don't touch the rod to the surface, and you have to continually push the rod in, not pull, but it does work! I actually used it the other day to weld a handle that gets pushed and pulled all day back on to my commercial lawn mower and it has held up really well thus far. EIther way, it works and if your in a pinch, it will do the job, non doubt in my mind! In terms of the Wen angle grinder compared to "anything at HF" I have a hercules and bauer 20v angle grinder and the Bauer stays on my welding cart and the Hercules stays in my go bag. They are both great quality and I definitely wouldn't compare either of those to that 110v wen grinder. The only comparable angle grinder at HF (in my oppinion) would be Warrior brand that is also 110v and it's inly $14.99, and probably still better and I can say that because it was my first angle grinder that I owned and kept for years and used the shi* out of it and then sold it for $10 an FBGS, and it still worked well! I'm really glad you are reviewing the Vevor cement saw. I have actually been looking at that because the price is SO much less than competitors, but I most likely won't be purchasing it.

the works nailer is a modification of a generic 18 ga narrow crown stapler sold under numerous cheaper brands which can also fire nails. Though the head being that of a stapler the hammer is to wide so it tends to leave dimpels in the wood when using nails. The stapler nail combo generic one is actually pretty decent fires consistently and has enough power for 50mm nails and staples up to 30mm it tends to struggle with 40mm staples though. Biggest issue it has is the head not being easy to remove in case of a jam, ie you need a hex key to remove it. how works managed to make a perfectly functional if somewhat unbalanced tool into that abomination i dont know.
