My husband just passed away at 46 from heart surgery complications and he loved John Mark and I'm listening to this and it is making my heart so light and lifted. Thank you for being you John Mark McMillan and being awesome like my own singer/songwriter husband. He helped David Rudibaugh at his coffee house Wired when you came and did a concert. It was a highlight of his life. You are deep like my husband. Redwood Preservation Society and Bart David Warren are where his music is located. He changed the world with Jesus' love.

I've seen John and the crew in concert twice. It's been such a blessing both times. I'm so glad this was recorded like this - so grateful for the heart of flesh you all bless us with. I shared this with a dear friend and am hoping he finds it to be as much a blessing as I. John, I told you this in person at the first show I saw. you at, but your music helped me as I helped my mother with dimensia move into assisted living as she recovered in the hospital from a fall. I can still feel the power of the Lord lifting me up thorugh your songs as I cleaned her now empty apartment and grieved the end of what I had hoped for her when I helped her move near me a few months before. Since then, these songs have been a relentless challenge and encouragement. I love you all.

So crazy! I was there during that 4th of July performance. I'm originally from El Paso but was living in Albuquerque at the time. I just so happened to have time off of work to go back home for one of my favorite holidays, to see one of my favorite musical artists.
