They need to make a movie about John. I would watch the hell out of that movie.
@MisterDeSoto8 жыл бұрын
They did. I remember a scene when his friends were dragging a metal cage with him inside behind a pickup truck.
@RetroSoulGirl8 жыл бұрын
That movie was called "Falling From Grace". Mellencamp starred in the movie, but the movie was fiction. It wasn't about his life or anything. The closest you'll get to a biography movie on his life is probably two other DVDs he released, "Trouble No More" and "It's About You". They're movies about his music and I liked them a lot. Mellencamp was also in another fiction movie called "After Image". It's a bit of a horror movie. It wasn't rated very well, but I liked it. John Mellencamp also stars a main role in that movie.

It might need to be R rated based on his life, but I’d still wear it out.

Claire Gutridge Sorry but the radio station I heard it on very often btw was in 1979. I know that John had another song before this one but I never heard it. I was very surprised also when I heard the long version for the first time. Different songs and versions were released thru the country at various times. If you got to enjoy this in 1978 then you were lucky.

I love how music critics call John "the poor man's Bruce Springsteen". Seriously, have they even counted how many classic songs John has in regular radio rotation vs. "The Boss"? How many cover bands play Bruce Springsteen tunes? Never listen to music critics, they don't know shite.
