Never seen the exhaust run like that, normally the Y and pipes are running out under the frame and the Y it straight off the exhaust pipe under the truck, love the truck and I dig that puppy

I tried to run it that way originally but it would have been really low to clear the bottom of the fuel tank so I went this route. Thank you I appreciate it! 🤙 she’s a big help in the shop for sure!

I'm building pretty close to the same thing, but mine is a 1951 mack A40 on a 1990 dodge d250 frame with the 12 valve

Biggert thing I hate about building something is there is ALWAYS something that needs to be done to it. Seems you never get through with it.

That’s all part of the fun of hotrodding, it’s never really done. It’s what I enjoy doing so no worries from me 🤙

I’ll have to go aftermarket, under the dash for heat but shouldn’t be to bad

@@323Fabrication Why you live in south Alabama. You don't need a heater in south Alabama. Air conditioning yes a big one but a heater nah....

This is a great build. Have you ever thought about doing a sand casting for the peace that you're missing on the rear window? 🪟 It's not that difficult. I've got a piece on a Oldsmobile but it's interior part and I was going to make it out of probably some kind of plastic and do a blow mold. Similar idea. I used to sand casting with lead and I'm sure that you have made a few sinkers as well for your fish line. I've watched other people do window frames something similar to what you're talking about. Without going into a lot that I don't know that much about I'm just going to refer you to googling KZbin channels. Nothing wrong with the idea that you have. I'm just throwing it out there.

That’s an idea for sure but not really something I would want to spend time trying to figure out. I could probably build one out of aluminum tubing with less effort than trying to cast one. I figured I’d just add it to my list of stuff I look for at swap meets and if I run across one then that would be great! If not the window won’t fall out haha

@323Fabrication the aluminum tubing is an interesting idea. I don't know if my idea would make for good KZbin content or not anyway. Your original idea 💡 is very creative and functional. If it's in just fine with your rat rod theme.
