He sang Get Along Little Doggies about 5 minutes in.
@crisisonthephone72073 жыл бұрын
I agree, Endeavor. I don't know who that was that sang get along little doggies, but the voice wasn't quite right and there was no chin cleft. Also his hair was too dark.
@msuddie12372 жыл бұрын
It was Carl Perkins singing Get Along Little Doggies not Kirk Douglas. Carl was part of Johnny’s band during the time of the Johnny Cash Show (along with the Statler Brothers, the Carters, and the Tennessee Three).

Last year I was here wondering if old Kirk Douglas would remember his pal Johnny Cash...Today I came across on this clip again and I thought to myself...Now Kirk and John will be together in Heaven for sure, after their last roundup...
@chadkincham3 жыл бұрын
Roy and Dale, plus Johnny Cash were Christians and believed in Jesus, so they’re in heaven - but I don’t know if the others were believers - I hope so.

I will always love Johnny cash and June Carter but when I found out about Johnny cheating on June with her sister Anita it just really hurt didn't think he would have done that breaks my heart😔
@msuddie12372 жыл бұрын
@Jeannine Powell the story about Johnny and Anita is ugly gossip that was used to sell tabloid gossip magazines and books but has never been corroborated by anyone by name - it is all “alleged” and “rumored”! We all know that not everything you read about celebrities and superstars is true, and these mean-spirited rumors only came up after both Johnny and Anita were dead! It is unfair to malign and judge Johnny (or anyone) based on unsubstantiated gossip. Enjoy the wonderful and extensive musical legacy Johnny Cash has left us - we know that his music is real and true. Johnny was human, had many faults and battled his demons throughout his life (and he did not hide this side of himself) but he was also kind, big-hearted, humble, loving, giving and funny. None of us is perfect and neither was Johnny Cash, and he was not judgmental.
