America has become so diverse in every sense of the word that no one knows 100% what America is supposed to be. I believe that America is dead. The land my ancestors conquered is no longer truly ours. It's nothing like it was at birth and it's nothing like it was even in the 1950s. Our history, our heritage is now being destroyed. But if we just hold on we can make America something new. Awaken the American dream. It is our modern day Manifest Destiny. We've lost alot, but we've yet to lose our blood. On July 4, 1776, our forefathers solemnly declared their independence and laid the foundation for the freedom we enjoy today. They bravely fought for the rights and dignity of every individual, and their vision of a free and just nation continues to light our path. Let us continue to stand for liberty and justice in their spirit, bearing the pride and responsibility that come with our precious independence.

I know many families with the same history as mine and I am sure that there will be many more in the future. We love our old USA! You know, this song brings many a tear to my eyes. To think all this country has been through, yet every year we slip further away from what we were supposed to stand for. I had many a family member who died or were injured in the name of this great nation. My maternal grandfather immigrated here from Italy and the day he gained his citizenship pearl harbor happened, so he volunteered to use his skills as a mechanic in service of his new home, in his lifetime he saw the rights he enjoyed stripped away, and had he been alive today he would be appalled. I love this nation and should the need arise, I would do just what papa Sicilia did many moons ago, and dig my boots in to keep my friends, my family, and hell, even my enemies safe and comfortable.

@Mike Bastiat You learn your history. The southern states secceded because the North didn't want slavery to expand into new states. They considered it part of their economy, their culture and way of life and were unwilling to give it up. The United States was the original nation from which the South split away and Lincoln had a duty to preserve the union. I know Lincoln expanded presidential power and retracted habeas corpus and so did Jefferson Davis. You can't talk about the Union enslaving people when the South was all about enslaving anyone of African descent

I'm a US Army veteran who served our country during the Vietnam era. I will ALWAYS honor that old flag whenever our anthem is played. Too many Americans died to keep this country free. I joined the military when the U.S. started pulling back troops from Vietnam in 1973. I love this country and dying for it was never a problem for me. I know that Vietnam was a very unpopular war. Which war is popular? All wars are bad. There are things that go on that soldiers returning home don't want to talk about. This country has been through a lot and we are still going through more. We should always honor those who died for this country. I hope and pray that our country will heal and continue to be a land of opportunity for all people. We are all, afterall, children of God. God bless that old flag and the United States of America.

Monarchism is much different than socialism and communism. Monarchism is very far right, and believe in having a hereditary ruler who rules for the good of the people with complete power. Socialism is where the government steals money from everyone, distributes it, and makes everyone equally poor. Socialism is all about being PC as well, and making the rich, who worked tirelessly to earn their money, just as poor as everyone else by stealing their money. Monarchism isn't hte same as communism/socialism, they are MUCH MUCH MUCH different beliefs.
