I was once in a similar position as Johnny; and the fact that I'm 6'6" and 300 lbs seemed to be sufficient evidence that my accounts of being repeatedly physically abused by a 5'6" woman (weighing only 128 lbs) wasn't credible. Go figure! I sincerely hope that if Heard is lying, she's made to pay dearly for it. The number of men who have suffered horribly and had their lives ruined by such vitriolic lies is literally countless. I also hope that the legal system pays attention; and that the laws are amended to provide fairness in justice for anyone who is abused. This bullshit of always believing the woman needs to stop. Exactly. Sorry you went through that. Just know there are plenty of female "allies" who are against those practices of automatically taking the side of women, just because they are women. It does a disservice to all of us, male and female. It's important to recognize certain facts; that women are disproportionately the victims in domestic abuse, BUT that does not mean they are the ONLY victims. Nor does it mean that fabrication doesn't exist. I don't think the majority of abuse claims are false, I really do think it's a small percentage of claimants that abuse the system, and most are to be taken seriously. With the information available for this case however, with depp and heard, I'm tending to believe it IS one of those in that small percentage. And I'm sorry yours was too. Unfortunately we won't always know the real from the fake, which is why I say, give compassion and consideration to the claimant, while also sincerely considering/investigating the side of the defendant. At least until there is reasonably enough to form an opinion either way....and if not conclusively certain, keep an open mind that your opinion could be wrong. Sorry, I rambled.

@@asideofaioli4630 Unfortunately, when I found myself locked up in a holding cell, with about 30 other MEN who were arrested for various charges, I learned that there were plenty of falsely accused men in holding cells... jail... and prison. I later came to understand that some of them were definitely abusive men... toward both men and women; however, what I witnessed was that the vast majority of abusive men are physically abusive towards both men and women. It's uncommon for a man to be solely abusive towards women. People need to open their eyes! Additionally, after working in nightclubs and personal security for over two decades, I witnessed how women are far more physically abusive towards men, than vice versa. Unfortunately, physical abuse from women directed into men is somehow deemed _'acceptable.'_ When we see a woman being verbally and physically abusive towards her boyfriend, or husband, we think: he better not lay a hand in her. We don't allow for any situation, where it might be acceptable for the man to use physical force to escape his situation. Conversely, we allow a great deal of latitude to women to use whatever physical force is necessary to escape their situation... even deadly force. No! Men are prisoners of their relationships, regardless of what you think now. Even my wife, who is only 5'0" tall and 93 lbs, has sometimes abused the "don't touch me, or I'll call the police" line, when she was extremely upset with me; and I've never been abusive toward her. You'll never know what it's like to have the person you love threaten call the police, when all you want to do is extract yourself from the situation (a.k.a. LEAVE). It's a helplessness that women DO abuse quite frequently. I've been called to come get some of my friends; and take them away from _"domestic abuse"_ situations, where the only abusive person was the woman. I love my wife... so do my friends love theirs... but the legal system is the furthest thing from a JUSTICE SYSTEM. It entirely favours women, the way it is now.

I am a female domestic abuse survivor (from a man) and I can say that, from what I've seen, Johnny is the victim. That being said, I am not a judge. All I can go by is what I see. As a culture, we are so ready to paint people with a brush and say "they are guilty." This sounds like two people who's relationship went south fast and in the public eye, even as an abuse victim myself, it looks like Amber is the abuser wanting the comfy life without the man. I hope they get their day in court and whoever is TRULY to blame is found out. There is so much that we, as humans, don't see in others lives and I want to reiterate that. Plus my brother Drew almost went to prison because she falsely accused him of breaking into her trailer and beating her. Meanwhile, he lost his job because he sat in jail for 6 months awaiting trial. Long story short, he was acquitted. She tried to frame him for the break in, however, there was no broken glass inside the house where she said he broke in. Instead, it was found on the outside, there was no medical records indicating he assaulted her and he had a solid aliby because he was at work at the time she said this happened. He also had character witnesses.

Got awarded £4 a week for my daughter right up till she was 16 so he did nearly get away with murder no increase for the cost of living but had to accept this as it was the law . It takes my breath away when I think of what she cheekily asked him for all the penthouses money ect instead of being a real independent woman like I was aged 23 then gone from once seeing the Beatles yes I was one of those screaming teenagers going to see bands dancing ect a 60’s girl but never took any drugs I was too frightened!!! So from that to getting abused just because you questioned why he was out all night coming in drunk no I didn’t deserve what I got either we can hear in these tapes he is not a violent person or if sh had the wrong person in front of her and not Johnny yeah she could have got real hurt or more she obviously enjoys it all but no remorse or embarrassment no wonder we are all screaming at our screens and all the people who are coming out talking about their own experience I will say it again the truth will out I hope .as she has not got a good memory has she can’t even lie right Johnny made a mistake , but she still didn’t care about his Kids shame on her re. I run a support group for people trapped in bad relationships. Have done for years. I have had relationships like this described to me by distressed men and women hundreds of times. Amber is a textbook example, literally textbook in every way, of a gas-lighting narcissist. Her wording, her methods, the mind games she plays, the manipulation and the control, the lies, the self justification. It's all absolutely classic narcissism. Sadly, Johnny is also very typical of the victims. A good person who loves the person they imagine their partner to be instead of the reality. They fired him without looking into the evidence he has always had, that proved the allegations in 2016 were crap. The judge dismissed Amber's abuse claims with prejudice back in 2016, because she did not have any valid proof and still people ignored it as if he was found guilty. All this evidence we are now seeing, Johnny had back then in 2016. JD wanted to go to court back then and prove his innocence, but Amber withdrew her abuse claim to the courts and the case was dismissed with prejudice. She didn't have a leg to stand on because she had been the real perpetrator and abused him throughout their marriage. Her false allegations from the beginning had been a hoax and extortion, look at her blackmail letter to JD. I remember reading about that years ago and the media completely ignored it, back then and now. This video by Brian is fabulous and thorough, but it's sad that an average guy on KZbin has to make something like this, because bias journalists and media refuse report the truth about Johnny Depp, because it doesn't fit their narrative. POTC was one highest grossing films of 2017 and it made 794 million worldwide and still that wasn't enough for greedy Disney...ugh! Then Disney claims some bogus lie like it was always their intention to go in another direction with POTC. Yeah right.🙄 I don't believe it for a second, he was let go because of Amber's continually media assault on Johnny's character, no doubt about it. Johnny Depp is the only reason there is a franchise for POTC. More than half the dialogue in POTC was improvised by Johnny and everything about Jack Sparrow from his walk, look and talk came from JD's wonderfully creative mind. A man I was very much in love with physically abused me the day after my Birthday October 26th 2019. He beat me so badly, I almost blacked out. He broke my nose, dislocated my jaw and fractured my right cheek bone. The bruises and swelling did not go down for months. MONTHS!!! The physical pain was at its peak 3 to 4 days later. The mental anguish I suffered is still weighing on my mind. There is no way I was laughing, smiling and going out with friends. I was curled up in a ball on the floor sobbing uncontrollably. I was anger, confused, hurt mentally and physically. I just wanted to be alone. I was embarrassed, felt zero joy or happiness. So would a woman that had been beating from the man she loves be going out in public, smiling? Looking people in the eye, without sunglasses and a hat to shield her injuries. To hide her shame to have people ask questions. Absolutely NOT! No fucking way is this piece of filth telling the truth!! An abused woman does not behave the way she does, especially the days after the abuse has occurred. What I know in my soul is she that Amber is a lying CUNT!! (please excuse my french)

I think it's important to note that the extortion letter, sent to Johnny, had a deadline for him to sign by May 27, 2016. That also happens to be the same date she went to court to file a domestic abuse restraining order. So it would be logical to conclude that Amber only went to court because Johnny did not agree to her demands. This was nothing more than a show to scare him into giving in.

Many have testified on Johnny Depp's behalf as to his character. He is not a violent person. In fact, he is the total opposite, kind, gentle and respectful to everyone he comes in contact with. He is greatly admired by everyone he has ever worked with. Most call him generous, a true gentleman and real professional. There is no pattern of violence on his side! He is not perfect and he freely admits his mistakes and past struggles with alcohol, but that doesn't mean he is abuser. Even if you don't care about Johnny Depp the actor/musician, even if you think he is strange, I implore you to take a step back and look at the facts and evidence with a rational eye. Think about the man and not the celebrity. This could be your dad, brother, friend or even you. Domestic abuse survivors are genderless. Many years ago, I was married to an abusive man who was also a serial cheater. We'd moved to a different state, but after I kicked him out, I couldn't afford to pay the bills on my own. I ended up moving back to our small town. Suddenly, rumors started spreading that I was the one cheating on him and he kicked me out. I was like "WHAT?" Small towns can really suck when it comes to stuff like that. And it turns out that it was his mother spreading the lies. But they sure did stick. I ended up filing for divorce and joining the Air Force. I needed to get out of town and had always thought about joining. Fast forward four years, and I came back to the small town. My new boyfriend overheard some guys at work talking about me in not so kind terms, more regurgitated rumors from four years before. I couldn't believe that that crap was still considered news there. It was frustrating. Anyway...to get to my point, given Johnny's high profile, the world was like a small town for him, where her lies and rumors were literally published. I am so glad that he was finally vindicated, even though there are still a few trolls trying their best to say the Virginia verdict was wrong. He seems to be doing much better, and I know we all wish him the best because he deserves it. As for my story, after five years in my home town, my husband and I moved to another state to the suburbs of a city because we didn't want to raise our kids where we grew up, where all kids had to do was party, and gossip is still the most popular entertainment. We had six kids who are now all over 18, except for our youngest, who is 15. We have never regretted moving. I can't imagine being a star like Johnny and never being able to escape the spotlight. I'm glad it's for good reasons now, though. Thanks for all of your hard work. I had to come back and watch some of your videos again since you're monetized now, and they're so interesting.

I was struck by someone's knee on the face once accidentally and I knew she was lying as soon as I saw the picture of the next day because she didn't have any swelling and she could smile and laugh and make facial expressions and if you've ever been hit you know how it feels to try to smile, it burns.

I watched the whole trial. I’ve followed all of the investigative reporting. Here it is 2023. The first anniversary of JD unanimously winning the defamation trial. I am still AMAZED that her abuse didn’t end in a very much worse outcome for Johnny. 😢 I realize defamation is a civil trial, but I really wish it could’ve been a criminal trial, so she would actually receive jail time. Her whole PLAN was diabolical!

Johnny has always seemed like just the most laid back, most kind and free spirited soul! I just can’t believe anyone would believe he hurt her when this first came out! He’s always visiting Childrens hospitals and doing good things for people and interacting with his fans, he’s always so kind and gentle! I hope he gets the biggest apology ever because he most certainly deserves it!! I feel so badly for him and his kids, it’s not fair what she’s done to him and his children what so ever! That shows her true character right there! I hope she gets the help she needs and I hope and pray Johnny has found some kind of peace now that everyone knows Amber is the abuser not him!

Amber is the kind of person that believes everyone likes her so much that they are willing to say anything for her. This may work for some people that become dependent on her somehow, such as the friends who were living rent free in Depp's penthouses as a result of his relationship with Heard, but the employees of the building she lived in owe her no such allegiance. She can't control them. She can't get them to lie for her. And I bet it came as a real surprise to her when they wouldn't bend over for her. I hope Depp ruins her and she never works in Hollywood again.

I was confused when I heard he was marrying her. Johnny never seemed to be the marrying kind. The marriage lasted briefly. Abusers don't all of a sudden become abusers. Yet, in this rushed relationship, we hear that he's violent to her. Her history verifies she has a history of violence. No woman before her ever said a word about him being abusive. I have been a highly skilled make up artist for 25 years And I can tell you that bruises are very very very very difficult to cover up. And even if you succeed in covering it up the make up is still obvious and you can’t cover up swelling with make up.

I meant if she had an injury to the level she claimed makeup wouldn’t even had been able to cover it up. Her appearance on that talk show soon after would of made it obvious she had injuries that she was attempting to conceal. It’s impossible to cover up that kind of injury and make it seem like you don’t have a ton of makeup spackled on and the swelling would of been obvious. I’m saying she lied.

Johnny is not an abuser in any way, shape, or form. He didn’t just decide in his 50’s to start beating on his wife. Yet, his wife, in her own words in her own voice has proven beyond all doubt, she is an abuser. This is also not a new tactic for her. Vanessa, Winona, Penelope, and all his other friends would not be defending him if they thought any of her ludicrous allegations held any merit. Abusers have deep internal issues. They start much sooner. I was in a violent situation for a little over two years. He was messed up in the head from childhood. AH is a liar. Not a good one, but a liar nonetheless. Her own recordings prove it. Texting about stabbing Johnny was truly terrifying to see. I have no doubt she would have, had the opportunity presented itself. Johnny is so lucky he got out alive. She will target the wrong meal ticket at some point. Then, her dream of being a DV victim will come true. Physical bruises heal. The emotional and mental trauma leave scars forever. Some things change you permanently. Being used as a punching bag and being picked up by your head and thrown into doors and walls tend to leave deep mental scars. The only good thing was when I finally snapped and hit him back. The day I stood in the kitchen with a butcher knife daring him to try one more time and seeing the fear in his face, was the one true happy moment in those years of hell. I left that day. He stalked me for a few years, from the opposite side of the country, but I was so beyond done at that point. I will never be hit again. I hope Johnny is able to move past the trauma and finds real love with a real woman. He’s always seemed to be a very decent man. He didn’t deserve this cancer to infect his life.

I had a black eye from a 110 pound girl many years ago. My black eye was UNBELIEVABLE and looked like a 250 pound muscle man did it. It was dark BLACK/BLUE/ eventually yellow and lighter blues. It lasted 10-14 days. Nobody punched this girl in the face. Nobody punched her in the back of the head until she was knocked out. It’s all plainly deceptive and looks to be premeditated. Is JD a Saint, well hell no he’s not... Nor am I, or many people, but he didn’t do this BS. This is a lesson for everyone to at least know basic psychology to try to avoid these types of relationships. Crazy people are EVERYWHERE! 💁🏼‍♀️😅
