I’m an Aussie and went to the USA, purely to take my kids to Disneyland. By far, the best attraction was the colour water display, particularly the Pirates of the Caribbean bit with Johnny’s voice blaring on loud speaker. It was exciting and hilarious. We came back days and days in a row to watch it. He MADE Pirates of the Caribbean for what it is today…. Which is a trillion times better than what it originally was without him. Rest assured, after what Disney has done to Johnny, I will never ever go there again or purchase any Disney product. I only ever continued to watch Pirates because of Jack Sparrow and Johnny lol. They may make another one with different characters but it will never be as successful. Jack was a stroke of genius by Johnny.

Disney already had the ride Pirates of the Caribbean long before the first movie. The movie didn’t come out until sometime in the 2000’s but the ride existed sometime no later than 1990 or 1991. We visited Disney World when our son was 5 and again 7 and he rode on it and was born in 1983. He graduated from HS in 2002 and the movie came out when he was in college. Disney certainly increased their revenues from the movie and Depp’s portrayal but the movie was created due to the ongoing popularity of the ride.

I had never encountered an individual like that before so I didn't know people actually do these things, I literally succumbed to the fact that I was "crazy" because I couldn't believe that kind of evil exists, so I had to believe it was me. (Actually admitted myself to the psych ward 3 times) Then...he went after my daughter (mentally) and it was like a light switch flipped. Worst time of our lives, but it'll NEVER happen again I can tell you that lol.

The Disney company has no integrity, no scruples and no loyalty to its employees or so-called fans. Regrettably, they own over 50% of the entertainment business. I know it’s a pipe dream because people talk the “big talk” but the public in general is fickle. However, avoiding Disney parks is the best way to hit back at them. I do my part… I haven’t been to one in 25 years and I’ve convinced my kids not to take our nine grandkids to any Disney Park. Seems a lot of people don’t like Disney.
