Same here! I’ve known him since forever, but never took interest in him. But, I was taken by the story and all this malicious plan to destroy him. The disparity between Depp’s legal team and Heard’s legal team is so telling. I found Depp’s lawyers to be caring, competent, righteous which are not often seen in lawyers (from my experience) whereas Heard’s lawyers were rude, unlikeable, and at times very incompetent (especially Elaine). I would really like to see justice prevail and I wonder if the disparity in the lawyers ability and likability play a significant role is the outcome.

I was never allowed to have any boundaries, so I became easy prey for bullies. I see clearly who the abuser is in this case. I'll be honest, i believed her. Though the whole thing back then was no more than a side note in my life, even when it came back up in the me too movement, and i never really took the effort to look up any details, I did believe that at least their relationship was toxic and that JD was the aggressor, as it often is the case as a man. Though he was one of my favorite actors (if not THE actor) i did not care much for his private life, but i WAS surprised, i had doubts, but overall i did believe her. That started to change, when HER career suddenly was on the rise and HIS career was basically over. And after this trial? After i heard about how AHs relationship with her ex-girlfriend (a photographer, i think) ended? After I actually WATCHED some of those trials live? Now this woman can claim to be a natural blonde or to be bleached to perfection, i wouldn't believe her neither. I probably wouldn't have believed her back then either, if i'd have taken the time and effort to dig a bit deeper, but like most people, i didn't. And I'm so glad that JD found enough strength to fight back.
