johnny is from the teddy p school of aggressive love. i didn't even go inside if i heard him singing because I knew my parents were probably "slow dancing." johnny was quiet storm and into new jack swing. we don't have anymore singers like this in stock.

Johnny has a multi layered career. Early solo stuff when he was a teen. Duet album with then girlfriend Stacy Lattisaw. Member of two groups New Edition, and LSG. Finally his later solo stuff. One of the best male vocalists in history.

The funny thing about Gill was he had a record contract before becoming part of New Edition unfortunate part was that his voice was so mature for his age it was hard for the record company to market him so he basically was shelved. And the other funny part was when he became a member of New Edition He was given a song that he felt wasn't up to his level which was Boyz II Men and he tried to on purpose sabotage that song but it ended up being one of his best vocal performances.

There is two ways to request. You can request a week under their suggestion video that they do weekly. If it gets enough votes then on Saturday it will be on a poll with other high vote lists and there will be another vote. They use to do lists you can donate $100 for but it got too much to do. So they changed it. You can also request a music video if you're part of their Patreon. You can make a request twice a month with a donation per music video. I think it's $20 per request.
