Just wanted to make a quick mention: There is no such thing as less-than-lethal. Rubber rounds, pepper spray, whatever it is, it CAN cause death if it's used improperly. Tasers kill all the time- they're almost certainly cause of death in hundreds of cases, with well over a thousand being potentially connected. It is ALWAYS "Less lethal". A rubber bullet is less lethal than a lead one, but is still potentially lethal. Tasers are less lethal than guns, but are still potentially lethal. It's all less lethal. Never less than. Only less. You'd be surprised how important that distinction becomes. It creates an entire different environment around the use of it. If you think a taser is less than lethal, that implies never lethal, which means screw it, it's not like you're gonna kill anyone. I mean, until you do kill someone. But if it's less lethal, you might still recognize that yes, this is dangerous, just not AS dangerous.

Rubber bullets and pepper ball rounds are definitely dangerous as hell. Rubber bullets aren't meant to be directly shot at people because they can straight up burst your eye or create massive issues for you if you're hit in the head. I remember the summer of 2020 in America and all the pictures and stories of people in the ER from "less lethal" force.

During the protest in my country (Chile, 2019), hundreds of people lost at least one eye due the "rubber bullets" being pointed to people's chest and face. One woman lost her eyes, taste and smell due a lacrimogen gas can shooted at her (she was going to her job). So, that shit is no joke

One time they were doing a thing with skunks. My neighbor takes her job SERIOUSLY, she found that skunk spray can be seriously dangerous if inhaled, as it expands and chokes you. So she passed out safety info, told them to prep spare clothes, because what gets sprayed will never smell right again, and gave out a cleaning solution that'll neutralize the scent on the skin. They went do the skit, and head to the hotel. Next day, they're eating breakfast, and start smelling something, something horrible. In comes one guy, she didn't give a name, but I think it was a Hispanic guy, regardless, she said his English was wobbly. He walks in with a girl on each arm, and wearing the clothes he got sprayed in, he never washed. She asks him why, and he said the girls like it, she says "only because you payed them to like it". So they're getting ready to head to the next site, and this guy heads to a van, they kick him out, this repeats till he gets to her truck, she tells him "you have 10 minutes to go upstairs, clean up, and apologize to the pair cleaner who has to deal with your sheets, or I'm leaving you behind". She radiates mom energy constantly, dude ran for it and, good for him, made it in time. I'll tell more later, it's late for me.

Knoxville did some interview later on in regards to the bullet proof vest stunt where he says he called the company who made the vest and asked if it was truly bullet proof. They say it is and then he says ok good because I’m gonna shoot myself to test it and if I remember right there was a pause and the company rep says something like “we don’t recommend you do that”.

Those Big Brother stunts were insane, and if you watch the Big Brother documentary they show the whole thing. Knoxville goes out into the desert with Tremaine and one or two other guys, and they almost didn’t get it on film because the cameraman flinched. The craziest part is that if it would’ve penetrated the vest they were so far out in the middle of nowhere that they couldn’t have gotten him help in time. So, I think the plan was to just destroy the video and leave if the stunt went pear shaped.
