Dennis Morris ran away from home aged 15 to go on tour with Bob Marley as his official tour photographer and took some truly iconic images of him... which drew the attention of John Lydon who invited him to photograph the Sex Pistols. He then formed the first all-black punk band, called Basement 5.

Fantastic. Great post. Lydon is fantastic and compared to his Pistols and early PIL era TV show appearances, by the late 80s he had become very entertaining rather than just arrogant yet funny. Never remember this show at the time but like a previous commenter I also spent the 80s off my face!!!

I never enjoyed the shows where it was just about the video and not enough about the album I mean yes back then video was king but it took away the excitement of getting an album and not knowing what songs you’ll be hearing the video took care of that and ruined the imagination side of things in the process and honestly a lot of the 80s vidios were so bad I’m shocked they were even aired to be honest
