There are more illegal SEA immigrants than tourists and legal workers in Korea. That's why. Europeans and Americans don't come to Korea to illegally migrate. South East Asians have brought in lots of problems, including drug related crimes and illegal prostitution, marriage frauds, and illegal gambling. Maybe address that issue first. There has been 600% increase in drug related crimes in Korea in the last 6years. Who do you think are smuggling drugs into Korea? Americans? No. It's usually the Thais and Vietnamese. 78% of Thai tourists ended up never leaving the nation. Many Vietnamese women marry Korean men for citizenship and they run away as soon as they get to Korea or when they get a legal status. 38 Koreans were murdered, extorted in the Phillipines and Koreans are often targeted for murder and robberies. Somali currently faces one charge but could potentially face three additional charges. According to local news, he has been charged with obstruction of business for an incident involving pouring ramen in a convenience store. Additionally, multiple reports have surfaced, and further investigations will address potential charges related to drug use, sexual assault, and deepfake-related sexual crimes. A significant factor is the "Statue of Peace" issue. It’s unclear how this will impact the case, but because he committed an act that many Koreans strongly detest, it could influence his charges, possibly intensifying them.

I grew up listening to my lola's stories of everything she went through to avoid being a comfort woman, including hiding in a pit for days when the Japanese arrived. (If you know how hot the Philippines can be, you know what a challenge that is.) If that video of him SA-ing a statue that represents the comfort women hit me the way it did, when my lola was thankfully able to escape that fate, how much more someone whose grandmother went through it? We can forgive. Many of us have. But we can't forget. What this fool did was desecrate the memories of people we hold close to heart. Korea has 2 year mandatory enlistement into the army. Those who extend or volunteer to join are the scariest.

if he says one word. just one word.. "sorry" Koreans will forgive him at once. but he didn't. he rather said much more rude shits and he got beaten by ex-navy seal chad right after that morning
@DayNurse8015 күн бұрын
I don’t think Koreans would forgive him, they’re too intelligent and too well connected to the internet, because he’s demonstrated he’s a compulsive liar many times. It would take more than words in his case, and I think he lacks the shame and humility it takes to be truly sorry.

It's mental. So in your world you can do any sh** whatsoever but if afterwards you mumble "sorry", it's alright?! No, it's not alright. You are to say much more, than "sorry", you are to SHOW remorse AND you are to bear ALL THE CONSEQUENCES of all and any sh**t you've made.

구속이 안돼도 몇달까지 갈 것도 없습니다. 양국 정부나 본인이 아직 심각성을 모르는 것 같습니다

Like most Americans, he just regards Asians as the same race. But in fact, modern Japanese and Koreans have completely different reactions when facing hostile foreigners.

Yup. The Japanese are not too far off from America in the early 2000's: Too concerned about being polite and tolerating this nonsense. Both America and Japan hate this stuff though because, of course, it's people taking advantage of common courtesy. As an American myself I'd rather us be great friends with Japan and idiots like this guy are ruining that and giving us a bad name which is why you always see apologies from Americans in the comments section. I'm glad Koreans and their military culture don't tolerate this at all. I wish America could emulate that energy more, we desperately need it these days.

He obviously hasn’t heard of the Korean rooftop brigade when Somali’s peeps decided to loot LA in the 90’s. They don’t eff around.
@@Impalingthorn it depends on where in America and who he causes trouble for.

The world look at black peoples as the same … go in Korea looking like Johny to see what will happen to you . This country is probably dangerous to any slim funny looking black man . They will punch you and all , without any consequences, people will stalk you for that bounty, then by the time they see that you’re not Johny Somali , it’s to late and they will cover it up
