Peace Walker is honestly my favorite Metal Gear game. It was the first game I played on my PSP and well into the HD Edition of the title. The story is excellent and not so complex, the emotions running high(Heaven's Divide and the final missions leave me an emotional wreck), the gameplay is superb(it helps that the game caters to MGS4 fans control-wise) and the multiplayer is always loads of fun. I know, some of the other entries like MGS5 and 4 are objectively better in some aspects, but Peace Walker will forever hold a special place in my heart as a fan of the series.

Plus it only takes a minute at most to organize your staff and check r&d for new weapons and itens that are available for development.

In the second peace walker boss fight I couldn't even stop the first countdown for nuke launch. After a lot of mission restarts I thought it could only be done with rocket launchers, but after trying with rocket launchers too I found that shooting peace walker in its knee with machine gun deals two or three times more damage than shooting in that cilindrical thing. Btw I played mgs pw on android on psp emulator PPSSPP and it's awesome. Also I just found your channel and watched a few videos and they are great! I hope you'll get more subs soon!

Phantom Pain has the same story issues with the final chapter not knowing how to end properly, is poorly paced, and is unfortunately a bit grindy with repetitive missions. Peace Walker will always be my favourite MGS game. As much as I love MGS3 Peace Walker just has such a nostalgic feeling to it that I love it above all else. And in my opinion once you know the saga it's even more feeling ensuing than MGS3. MGS3 is about Naked Snake becoming Big Boss, Peace Walker is about Big Boss being a broken older man trying to move on then finally accepting what he is and the role he will play for decades to come, Not Big Boss, But the true successor the The Boss (even with how wrong he was about that), He becomes Snake. Just Snake. Mantling the legend but not accepting the title of Big Boss himself. This finishes with (in my opinion) MGS5 where he accepts the title of Big Boss to create Outer Heaven leading into MGS2.

Take the sniper approach, fire and relocate, it saved me from ragequitting MGSV alltogether

+SuperFusionAJ93 Well to be fair,there are only 2 problems with 45 1.The player most likely going into it under the assumption that its a sneaking mission and gearing up for that(which can be party corrected,stuck with the chosen armor though) 2.shin akuma god tanks of sniping Apart from that the mission is pretty easy if you kept up with your AT development(or have the balls to fulton them).

I think Dr. Strangelove is a stalker , I mean she loved The Boss despite the fact that she loved the sorrow and was upset over killing him and she used to respect stranglove as a scientist not as a love interest, she went out of her way to create an AI similar to the boss to know whether she loved her or not and got impregnated by Huey to symbolically have The Boss's child this woman needs some serious therapy for what she has.

What I love about Johnny's mgs reviews is that he's probably the least pretentious and least overly analytical of these games.
