I loved Triple Trouble as a kid. I put it in my Game Gear so much the contacts on the cart wore out. Sure, it didn't take me long to get to where I could beat it, but it kept me coming back to try to get those emeralds. That, and I was in my Sonic phase as a kid, which I grew out of especially since 3D Sonic just wasn't for me. I ended up in the Metroid fandom which, while not as infamous as Sonic's, definitely has its quirks.

Won't lie. Triple Trouble is my favourite of the 8-bit Sonic games. It's as fun as STH2 but without the bullshit boss fight (you know the one). I'm assuming next up will be Labyrinth (which isn't great but I don't despise it) along with… Drift 2? or Blast?

He'd most likely cover both Drift games. I'd have to agree with you on Triple Trouble, especially on Gems Collection.

Sonicminer (I meant I've never played Drift1) I love S1GG. One of my fave 8-bit STH games. It's unlockable on one of the Gamecube Sonic titles and is still fun.

Mega Collection Plus is basically the same as on GameCube but with the GameGear titles packed in also. It was released for PC, PS2 and XBOX if I recall correctly.
