Thank you for keepin' on keepin' on, but moreso for taking care of yourself. More than half the series' total lifespan without these things that people actually liked... and now they're back. Just like that. I'm so amazed by how quickly Sonic's friends have been normalized, and all it took was a few games (and Frontiers' DLC) within a couple months. Turns out it was just that easy!

I first came across this channel back in 2010 when I was 10 years old. Back when it was SGB Reviews and before all the Johnny Vs stuff. I watched on and off up until 2012 where I truly became a fan and watched every new upload. I would get excited when a new upload would go up, I remember being hyped when the mega man marathon happened as an 8th grader just getting into the series. But no matter how old I got, I still continued to watch this channel. I still liked the videos, and the channel was just getting better and better. But it made me realize, that I have been following this channel for almost 14 years now. Regardless to say, there is a plethora of channels I used to watch but don’t anymore. But not this channel, and truthfully these videos have helped me out during some pretty dark days. Seriously, whenever life feels like too much I’ll throw on a Somecallmejohnny playlist (in chronological order) and just let it play out in the background, and it’s help. It’s comforting, and it’s gotten me through those rough days. Anyways, I just wanted to leave this comment and express how much you mean to me and how much you have unknowingly done for me. Dream Team is one of those "yeah t's good" kinda games. It's basically the Sonic equivalent of Super Mario 3D Land. Nothing about it is flat out amazing or even great, but it's a well-crafted and enjoyable time. For a mobile game, it doesn't have to be more than that. If Hardlight were to be hired to make mainline games alongside Sonic Team, I think they might be able to make an honest-to-god banger. Let Sonic Team work on their open-zone games, while Hardlight make more course-clear Sonic games. You're offering the new playstyle, while still keeping the old playstyle. Sounds like a winning recipe IMO.

I wanna give you a hug, man. You're always such an excellent content creator, but you're just as human as the rest of us. When you need a break, when you need rest, when you need to just take time and stop for a while, you don't hesitate because you *need* it.

I remember people joking about this being one of the few Sonic games IGN had positive thoughts on. But anyway, I wish I could play this. As a Samsung person with no Mac, I hope we get some ports for something I actually own soon.

You shouldn't apologize for taking time off for yourself Johnny. I'm glad you're feeling better and I hope things are easier on you going forward.

3:52 they let Gameloft make a Sonic Dash spin-off once, and the pure lack of quality in that alone shines these guys in a pretty positive light

They also let Gameloft make Spider-Man Unlimited which was so good they reworked the Minion Rush game to use the same mechanics afterwards, for better or for worse, still miss that game

I started learning English thanks to your videos! =) Sometimes you need to distance yourself, that's normal. Thank you for your videos and I hope to see you again some day ;)

27:40 There's no need to apologize. Everyone has their limits and should take breaks. What's important is that you're alive and healthy.

Been watching your videos for legit 6 years. Which is insane to me. Thank you for it all. You deserve all the time in the world to prioritize getting right. My life is better bc of what you do, it doesn't get more valuable than that!

You’re the best Johnny, please don’t think you’re letting fans down by not posting as often or keeping us in the loop with how the “next upload” is going, we appreciate all the work you’re doing and have done and just want the best for you. Been a viewer for a long time and check out the streams on the regular and will continue to support you no matter what you decide to do! Wish you, your family and friends all the best!

It's been like an entire month or more and I only just now realize when you're saying "Ariem" it sounds like "R-E-M" aka Rem sleep, god damnit

I’ve been watching your videos since 2011. I was 9 years old. I’ve lived a whole decade watching you talk about games. And I don’t regret it. Never ever apologize Johnny. Whatever time you need, please take it cause we’ll still be here for you no matter what. It’s always worth it man. And I’m glad you noticed where you were at mentally and took steps to make things better. Thank you for all you’ve done for us 🧡

Not the store itself but every now and then a game that was stuck in there gets ported to something else and it usually ends being way better than i thought. Jenny LeClue is a recent one for me it's a nice experience.

Love you Johnny, take care of yourself. Any content you give is a blessing and I'm happy to watch whenever is best for you to upload. I've turned to your videos in some of my darkest times, your personality has always been such a comfort for me.

I tell everybody i know, as someone who suffered from depression more than once: *_TAKE CARE OF YOU FIRST!_* Your mental health (as well as physical) is MUCH more important than trying to hurry up and finish projects on time for some seemingly demanding customers. Those who actually appreciate you, will appreciate that about you, and will care as a result! Johnny, I hope you get/got all the rest you need/needed, my man.

Been watching since the end of month of sonic 2, and you've always delivered chill, funny, and quality videos. If you need to take some more time for yourself then go for it. I'll support you all the way

At last, the chad has returned from his temporary hibernation. Super Mario Wonder review or not I’m glad you’re back Johnny. XD After Review portion Edit: If I had known what you were going through before I made my innocent jokey “In The Moment” comment, I would’ve worded it better, so apologies on that if it came off as selfish. I’m SO sorry you had to go through so much mental baggage behind the scenes by 2023’s end dude. But yes, you are allowed to take a break whenever you need one John. PLEASE don’t feel ashamed about not making video content if you’re not up to, ya know? We love you dude, keep being awesome and remember, your health is WAY important then getting videos out, we can wait after all. Have fun and take it easy..👍❤️
