Man, congratulations on 200K! I was recently going back and watching some of your old reviews from all the way back in 2009 and the contrast with your reviews now is outstanding. You used to lack a bit of confidence, mumbled or stuttered a bit at times and your humor was a bit awkward, but I always loved it. Now, everything you do is spot on. Visual gags, written humor, all of it is some of the finest quality reviews you can find here. Not to mention what gillythekid said here: "I like to have no bias when reviewing". That's what I think sets Johnny apart from most other video game reviewers online. Most go out of their way to review something awful for the sake of a funny video. Johnny reviews mostly what he wants to review and gives us an unbiased opinion about it. Not only unbiased, but critical as well. He writes the humor around what is good and what isn't, and doesn't have to recur to a character. It's mostly genuine. You've become someone filled with confidence. Passionate, steaming with professionalism and overall just a better version of what you already were. It always fills me with joy to see the people I hold in such a high regard like you making it in this industry. Seeing you grow and evolve. I'll always look forward to your next review. 7:40 The reason why slopes aren't in Super Mario Maker is that slopes are a nightmare to program. There are so many variables that need to be calculated for a slope to function, and even then, you are still likely to run into a problem with it. The developers initially wanted slopes in the game, but they couldn't find a way that would allow the player to create any kind of slope they wanted without running into buggy collision detection or other glitches.

So that takes us to, at the fastest (1 a week), somewhere between early January and mid February. Star Fox is, before Zero, 5 more weeks, which would leave us (again, assuming working at fastest speed) anywhere from early March to mid April. So, working at the fastest speed? Let's identify it as an 80% chance unless Zero hits another delay.

It's a difficult game to beat though mostly due to taking on the contra formula though that said I also recall saying the same thing about MG2 Solid Snake though that was more due to the obscure stealth nonsense you've got to do during the game (hatch an owl, why didn't I think of that right away?).

I actually paid $80 for this game. Granted, I got the booklet with it as well, but that's still a pretty large investment. I've gotten more than my money's worth out of it though. During the creation process for one of my levels, my gamepad ran into the red zone about 6 or 7 times. Not kidding. Creating a level that's *actually good* is super difficult but very fun.

My only problem with a Metal Gear Maration is that (with the exception of the spin offs) the core games have been reviewed to death. Not only that, there already exists amazing reviews (like BunnyHop and Matthewmatosis) which pretty much say everything that needs to said about those games.

Oh, Johnny quick thing to know about Rising. You can block pretty much any attack as long as the yellow light doesn't appear on the enemy. Try it out when fighting the first boss. Heck, you even get an achievement by doing something.

Mario Maker is the best and worse Mario game, at the same time. Best: Endless amount of levels, some really well designed ones. Worse: 99% of the levels are not like that! Insanely unfair levels, Auto levels taking up all the praise and hold right to win. And if the kind who prefer to make than play, your levels will never be noticed because your not famous on KZbin. You could create the greatest level ever, but it'll never be played as much as RubberRoss' "Easy."

A Metal Gear Marathon?! I mean I like the series a lot, but just the plot summary of the games is gonna be 30 minutes long lol. IMO skip the NES games, they are not even cannon and pale in comparison to the MSX2 original games. (they weren't even made by Kojima)

I've noticed something. Johnny's older videos were mostly about his experience with games while also supplying specifics and an overview of the games themselves. While he still gives the overview and specifics, he now seems to put more focus on whether or not the viewer should buy it and for what price rather than simply giving his thoughts on the topic. There's nothing necessarily wrong with that, but I found it worth noting.
