Johnny Weir is my inspiration. I've always wanted to try figure skating but I never thought I would be any good. The first time I saw him I knew that I could do it too so I plan on getting a pair of skates and giving it my all because of Johnny and his inspiration!

I saw Johnny in Everett WA during Skate America-a pre qualifier for the 2010 games. He was magnificent. I've always felt he doesn't get the marks he deserves, but then again I'm not a judge. Johnny is always so fun to watch.

@cygroltd Exactly how does a "man" skate? I missed the rule book on this one. The thing with skating is, the jumps require intense strength, while the art of skating requires some flamboyancy. Weir has both. He's captivating to watch.
