Johnny looked after the guys that influence him ,He helped muddy water son his feet with hard again. He played on it and produced it.he always took on some old bluesman on his tours .He did the same as Clapton,Van Morrison, and many other to keep the blues alive!God bless Mr Winters.

Was so lucky to have seen Johnny 17 times in his life on stage. One time was with Edger with the great Rory Gallager opening the show. And another time i sat with Al Hendrix in a club in Seattle .

It is a shame that Johnny Winter's performance at the original Woodstock concert wasn't on the Woodstock record album or included in the movie. What a great blues, and rock guitarist, and singer he was. Thanks for the upload. There's never too much Johnny. " Winter is Coming".

Amongst the very fist artists I ever heard live. The (Johnny Winters And Band), along with the "Album" is, solidly placed in my top 10 all time favorites.

It's actually Johnny Winter, not Winters, being one of your favorites you should know this, Sorry but it always bugs me when people get his name wrong

Johnny was paid 600.000 $ in 1969 by Columbia to join their label and here'a a fun fact about his debut album Bill Josey, who owned Sonobeat Records, had recorded a live show at the Vulcan Gas Company in Austin so Johnny would have a demo to shop for a major label. However, Josey released that performance as Progressive Blues Experiment on his own label. But before the ink had dried on Johnny’s Columbia contract, Josey sold the LP to United Artists. This album is still one of Johnny’s best-selling and most highly acclaimed releases, but the artist never saw a penny. 'Bill Josey had the tapes and he got the money,' Johnny says. 'Even now when they sell that CD, I don’t get any money.'”

Johnny was really good, but this is not one of his better ones. Oh well, everybody's got a bad one once in a while.
