JW has got a ton of scorching hot Blues tracks. I can personally say that Johnny blew me away more than any musician I have ever seen in a bar or club. Saw him in an old converted warehouse, no AC, no fans, mid-July NC in 1984, it was so hot my jeans were soaked thru and this man strolled on stage and played the most ferocious blistering hour of music I'd ever seen, no breaks between songs, then took a 10 minute break and played another hour non-stop, and THEN he played an encore for 30 minutes. The dude did not miss a single note while covered in sweat, never slowed down, never broke stride. I will never ever forget that night.

I was lucky enough to get to know Johnny Winter very well during his last 12 - 15 years on the planet. He was a huge influence on me personally during this period, and a massive influence on my guitar playing for 1/2 a century! RIP, Johnny - I miss you my friend!

"Blues"music is strangely an oxymoron, it's always about something sad, but it makes you feel good!

I lived in Houston TX in the late 60's early 70's. Got to see Johnny several times . Both before and after he became famous. I feel so lucky to have lived then and there. Also....ZZ Top, 13th Floor Elevators, and Lucinda Williams. Great town for music. Many thanks for a wonderful artist. Love Danikas laundry analogy

Hello Andre & Dominika, I thought I'd suggest a new band to give a listen, if interested. "The Brothers Johnson - Stomp! [VEVO]" (by the channel: BrothersJohnsonVEVO) --The Brothers Johnson were an American funk and R&B band which consisting of the siblings Geroge & Lewis E. Johnson. They rose to fame during the mid-70's and 80's. Three of their singles peaked at the #1 spot on the charts, so, they have more tunes to explore in future, if interested. And as always, I enjoyed hanging out and rocking with you two, thanks for sharing. peace out~

I agree, this is beautiful! It's right up there with The Bluest Blues by Alvin Lee with George Harrison of The Beatles playing slide guitar. It was really special seeing how the lyrics and guitar playing hit each of you. I think the Bluest Blues will do the same. Alvin Lee was lead singer for 10 Years After and believed to be one of the fastest guitar players to have lived. There's 2 guitar solos, the first is George Harrison on the slide guitar and then Alvin does the second one. Each has their guitar crying! George wrote While My Guitar Gently Weeps and I believe that song inspired them here! kzbin.info/www/bejne/qHOZgJ-AprtkqLM&pp=ygUZYmx1ZXN0IGJsdWVzIGJ5IGFsdmluIGxlZQ%3D%3D
