Loved this clip. If I didn't know any better, this evening, with Johnny, Annie and Shelley could have been have a Mighty Carson Arts skit. Johnny's looks and funny comments nailed it. The beauty of it all was that there were no ego issues or discomfort between the ladies. I think Miss Winters took a guess about Miss Potts and the umbrella, but who cares 😂.It was priceless.

Shelley Winter wrote two books about her life, and they were juicy!! My big regret is that if I'm not mistaken, she was working on a third when she died. What wouldn't I give to get my hands on that. She was such a funny lady!!

Annie Potts did not end up appearing in the film Stick. The studio told Burt Reynolds, who directed it, that they hated the movie he turned in. They forced him to reshoot the second half of the movie using a new writer. It was delayed 8 months and Annie Potts was not in the final cut.
