Kyiv is a gorgeous city. Much preetier than most American cities. And it's because of the Ukrainian people. Beautiful stoic people inside and out. And that is something will never have or understand.

And yes I have been to OC and Miami. Doesn't touch the warmth and kindness of the Ukrainian people. And Ukraine before the war is a gorgeous country. The OC has beautiful spots. Laguna Beach, Laguna Niguel, etc. But the people don't compare,IMHO.

Just so you know, I'm not trying to be smart about this. What are the do's and don'ts of an American flag? The flag should never be displayed with the union (stars) down, unless as a signal of dire distress. The flag should never touch anything beneath it, such as the ground, the floor, water, or merchandise. The flag should never be carried flat or horizontally, but always aloft and free.

So true, additionally the flag needs to be taken down overnight, unless it's lit up. There are exceptions, Disneland for example - they never take their U.S. flags down overnight. Why? Their flags are not proper U.S. flags as they do not have 50 stars, I think they fly a 49 or 48 star flag (which in actuality is not a U.S. flag).

I am surprise that you don't remember from civic duty class in elementary school (in the Bay Area California), that when you are handling the American flag, you are to pay proper respects by never allow our nation's flag to touch the ground. When I was in sixth grade I got flag duty with a friend of mine. Every morning and afternoon we had to raise the flag and take it down. We were given a specific way to fold it and told to NEVER let it touch the ground. So u did it wrong. 😂 Lol. Jk

My only problem with this beach is that the Dnipro in Kyiv is directly downstream from Chernobyl.....like, directly downstream lol.... Dont eat any fish outta that thing. Maybe take a good shower after swimming. But definitely thank you for representing us well in Ukraine and happy to see the Ukrainians with positive reactions to American's. It wasn't like that just 20 years ago.
