This series is helping me out a lot for the future because I have a fourtrak farm vehicle/play around thing and I'm in a rush to get all the sharp rust mended ready for MOT. Before we just covered the arches over with duck tape but because I got it off my dad to see what I can do with it after its been sitting for probably almost 10 years, I think the welding practice should help with any other cars I want to revive to sell in the future :) So far on mine rust wise, I've replaced the back door and front panels from some other scrap parts daihatsu's we have around the farm. Sure the front panels are red now and the parts weren't off the same model but if they fit they fit and they don't have any rust (or not as much as there was on it) so I'm happy. It's only a Toy project thing anyways, might even take it rallying 🤣

Daihatsu fourtax was what I leaned to drive in and my first field car on the farm it was a red 93 seater model had a yellow stripe but the whole jeep was resprayed Massey red it was lovely but over 12 years on the farm it got rough the engine never stopped going what failed it in the end was the rear axle locking up every few hundred metres, it was parked 6 months later it started first turn unfortunately my uncle sent it away with scrap wish I took off the wheels cus they were very good and different any were rare enough I never saw another set on one I’m nearly 19 now I hope in a few years to find one for the road for myself as it was my grandfather who taught me to drive in it I would happily drive one now on the road but unfortunately insurance is stupid and when they see 2.8 insurance goes crazy even tho they arnt fast
