As a Bruins fan, I am glad the Panthers gave it to us last night. For the last two seasons, we have had amazing starts to the season just to lay an egg in the playoffs. I rather we get all this bullshit out of the way early. Very disappointed in the lack of physicality from the Bruins D core. Every D-man, besides Charlie Mac, is 6’2” or taller. They played timid and undisciplined. In 2011, our team wasn’t fast nor as skilled up front as the Canucks were at the time. This team is being built in a similar manner. Hopefully they can pull their head out of their rear-ends and find the heart that last cup team had. We need the old school gritty hockey back. Hats off to the Panthers. You guys have built something special and play the game of hockey with passion. It is respected among the true hockey fans. Truly something special to watch. Good luck the rest of the way Cats. Hope to see you in the playoffs again for another amazing series.
