I first heard this version by Randy Crawford in 1994 and fell head over heels in love with it..Her voice and impeccable rendition makes this (to me) cover version of Imagine the best of the best. I remember getting her album "Secret Combination" as a 17 year old boy (around 1981). It immediately became one of my favorites. The song "Two lives" helped me through my first heartbreak. Later that year I went to one of her concerts. The moment I heard that quivering, spine-tingling voice and saw her white, radiant smile, I was completely mesmerized. I basically cried the whole way through the concert. The sound, the songs, the voice and her charismatic personality completely won me over.
