@@JohnDoe-tj8lj To be fair, thats more likely the switches fault than runefactory itself. Quite a lot of games struggle on the switch, even some of the recent nintendo titles. Just give it a year or two for the exclusivity deal to finish and it'll get ported to more powerful devices like PC / PS / Etc and the lag issues will be greatly improved I imagine. But yeah sadly the switch doesnt handle detailed 3d too well

The heart drink exploit still works on the ps4 ver. I kept getting it on the first week of each season. Also you can get a rosary early if you date Vishnal keep going on dates to the armory until he gifts you a rosary

Honestly so grateful for this video! I’m playing on the 3DS and I’ve finished the 2nd arc. I can’t seem to get Arc 3 to trigger so I’ve been running Sharance maze and I BADLY need to upgrade my cure all because taking potions is too slow and risky.

U can upgrade ur magic by taking it to leon n givin him the item he asks to upgrade it :) Also if ur having a hard time getting Rune crystals, u can go to the top of leon karnak (Where the 2 foxes r) n where u see the bird on the front of the tower u can check to see if it spawns a rune crystal. If it does then u can spend the whole day gettin in n out the area grinding them. If it doesn't just keep checking everyday until it does. Hope this helps ;)

In 3ds, the 3rd arc is a very random event and there is now way to trigger it manually. If I'm not wrong, you'll need to have high relationships with Dylas and Amber, and I suggest you having them both in a party and bring them to sleep EVERY SINGLE DAY. It took me a season to randomly trigger the third arc (after multiple restarts too). When triggered, Dylas and Amber will excuse themselves from the party, which never happens unless there is an event going on, and go to Amber's house. You'll just have to follow them and follow the event direction. It's definitely easier on switch :(

While you wait for arc 3 you can get very rich, maybe even a billionaire, up your relationship lvls to everyone, you’ll need a level 10 with all, except Barret and Rafen, Inthink, for Eliza’s request. Open Sharance Maze and save before you go there, or go with Jones :). Lots of things to do before arc 3. Switch version is so easy it kinda lost the excitement to know the event has triggered. Even on Switch I wait a bit until Rune Prana.

I once had 2 chickens and gave them their eggs every day as a gift. They ended up 1 shoting almost every boss and carried the shit out of the game. I tried to replicate it on a later run, but never got those op chickens again. Fucking monsters

In Rune Prana, the snowy area with the mammoth boss, there's a snowman right before you go fight the boss, that's also a hidden area that gives heart drink I'm not the best at explaining

The snow region in rune Prana isn't very big so it shouldn't be too difficult to find the spawner you are talking about. I will look for it when I reach that point in the playthrough. Thanks for the info!

In the sechs territory 2 screens up n one to the right ( right under the vacant house n the snowman) there's a stump that will most likely always give u withered grass. In leon karnak all the way at the top where the 2 foxes stand, there's a symbol of a bird in front of the tower, check it everyday to have a chance in getting rune crystals.

well your best bet would probably be the pool in maya road or the winter spring. as to "how", the only thing i know is that the shadow of the fish is slightly lighter than normal. thats basically all I know.

well getting all your seeds to lvl10 is something you want to do eventually anyway lol considering that gold juice is the best way to make money even though its a huge witch to do (especially the freaking emery flowers)

When making items and not wanting to sleep spam/recover, i usually just poisoned the healer with a weeed/whithered grass and it would usually just heal the team when reaching a low enough hp. Worked for a high level Arch Daemon at least on 3ds. The arch daemon does a funny dance trying to heal if it's muted as well. I usually just let the monsters harvest their own food when selecting tasks (they fill the fodder bins themselves) . they also harvest lumber/material stone one piece at a time if you let stumps/stones generate. There's also a carrot/ice cream/water crystal spawn area.

I tried to do that on rhe switch but for some rson it didn't work for me. I tried it b4 on the 3ds n it worked n I used to have them harvest all my crops but it didn't work on switch for me... Not sure if they took that out😔 Also that spawn area is the snowman in the sechs territory right infront of the vacant house Edit: Ok so I got my monsters to harvest finally. Apparently they water the crops in the morning but then they harvest the crops later throughout the day which was confusing me😅 But yayy

He means that when it fully grows to 100%, don't harvest it but leave it there. Even though the crop has fully grown, the level of the crop will still increase, especially if the quality n the growth is pretty good. To answer ur question no ur crops don't need No rot, greenifier or formula C everyday. He only did that to show how the corn affects the health of the field

Sometimes if you're lucky, Arthur will sell wood or stones. Other than that, there are hidden item locations that can have them

Making Pizza is ok 12k + depending on level, but it requires many resources and a high cooking skill, you can simply grow a giant pineapple that sell for 16k a piece at lvl 10 and you get 3 every 3 days and they regrow, you can get them as early as 1st arc just after getting Dylas just enter Leon Karnak and kill a few pineapple monsters to get the seeds, You need to be high level or have good equipment in order to survive so be warned. Don't forget the platinum in one of the chests in Leon Kanak to upgrade your scythe to legendary in order to cut lvl 10 seeds.

You can get level 10 crops even without legendary sickle. Just soend lots of money with fertilizer, the green package is the best but early game u only get the white/green one, you’ll need lots, leave the crop as much as possible without harvesting, don’t use formulas to grow faster. I got my turnip level 10 with a silver sickle.

Formulas r used to decrease the amount of time it takes for a crop to grow. Greenifier increases the quality which I believe is what helps crops level up better, n no rot n wettable powder is for ur crops to have more defense against wilting n storms. Best way to level ur crops is ofc watering everyday, making sure the quality n defense is good, n also having a good sickle. If ur in the beginning of the game it will take u some time to get better farming tools

For dishes, if you want the dish to be level 10 then every ingredient needs to be lvl 10. This means that if a dish only has 1 item, then that dishes lvl will be whatever lvl the ingredient was. Forging and crafting is a bit different since the technical max lvl of that equipment is 150. Episode 4 of this series goes into a bit more detail on how that mess works lol

@@SwanBaby31 the corn is only used to increase the health of your plants after you pump them with nutrients. If you want to lvl seeds, increase the soil quality, let them sit after they've grown for a day or so. Then sickle them

I have a question you didn't address. Many of the areas are story locked. How did you reach all those areas without progressing at all past lvl 1. Another, things like the forge and chemistry bench are the same. How did you get those without progressing? One more thing, you did address it but i must not have grasped it.. How did you get all the vegatables without progressing, when the store won't sell seeds or vegs at the beginning, until you progress. Thx

Could have sworn I did address it, but once you have access to the obsidian mansion, you have brief access to Leon Karnak until you complete the lava cave. And once you have access to the lava cave, you can go to the sechs territory. As for the veggies, the later areas usually have chests with seeds in them.

@@nathanburgett1599 you need to talk to bado and he will mention an order to get licenses for crafting and forging, then you got to the order page and take the test. After you pass you can buy them from bado. (You can do the same thing for a chemist table by talking to Jones)

I was thinking you should make some videos explaining the secrets of RF4. I’d do it if I could. A lot of things I learned here and other vids on this app, gamefaqs and neoseeker… Like I just lesrned there are more than one place to get monarch mushrooms… and they are not only good for selling but also healing. Rune crystals between Sano and Uno, and so on. Even the basic escape before monster goes away (to the forest of beginnings, lol), some people don’t know. So good to beat Ambrosia and get those thorns, flowers and PP esrly game.

I cant get heart drink on that fire place. Only get oil, fire crystal & heavy spice. Was this require higher searching skills? Also, anyone know how to leveling fast at lvl 130? Im really have a tough time on Sharance 1, it way too slow and difficult for me and my Xiao Pai (I know she were clumsy but well I love her so Ill just set her as my battle companion forever). I cant beat the Sharance 1 boss as well. All my gear are limited to the only obtainable ingredient, as I cannot get any ingredient from Sharance 2 amd above.

When you beat arc 2 for the first time, you unlock some extra orders that you can access from any point in the game. In the level 1 walkthrough, I started a new profile and selected that order as soon as I could so that my level would stay at 1 but my skills could still level up, which is why you see my level at 1 but my skills nearly maxed out.

If you mean plants, if farming was the ONLY thing you did in the day and had access to everything I did then it would probably take an hour or two (for trees and crops that take multiple in game weeks, it would take longer)

@@SCOTSviper well the answers more or less the same, if you're only focusing on one skill at a time and know what your doing it should take an hour or two. forging and crafting are much more of a slog though, the first 50-70 levels can go quickly by exploiting certain high level recipes (i.e making the scarfs like I did in episode 4) but honestly focusing on farming first should be your priority since you can get skill levels from the sprites that come from harvesting crops which can in turn help you level other skills faster without actually grinding the skill.

I didn't. The only way to get a higher leveled flour is to find it (or if you're playing on steam then someone made a mod that lets you craft it) If I had one in the video then I must have found it at some point.

How to faster upgrade the cooking skill ?

Well to make every skill upgrade faster, get a heart pendant. For cooking specifically, it's easier to level up by making then immediately selling high leveled foods that you can easily make like pumpkin flan. Just level up your crops and look at what crops the store is selling, make whatever high leveled foods that contains crops the store is selling that day, then sell the dishes in the player store. Rinse repeat.

In my game, she's like Level 14 I talk to everyone it takes a while for the town folks to like you but the guess characters are much more easy. I'd recommend you try to talk to everyone everyday it might help you out a lot especially if you want to get married

Once you beat arc 2, you unlock extra orders that you can use at any point in the game on any save file. One of the orders on that is to turn off EXP, which i did at the beginning of the series.
