That Total Funpak multicart was released in Australia by a company called HES. They had a piggyback system which meant you had to plug in any licensed NES game into the cart to override the lockout chip to play.

WOW...thank you SO much for sharing this, John! The section at the beginning involving the Art of Nintendo Power literally caused my jaw to drop! I can't believe that you got to physically see some of the iconic items used for covers way back in 1988/89! I mean...the Track and Field shoes? The clay models? INCREDIBLE!!!

Thank you for sharing that. It was like hanging with you over the weekend at a con, but; condensed into 30 min. Great vid, and excellent pick ups. I don't collect myself because everything I play is on an everdrive or hacked/modded. Though I get hyped when I see little Samson, mightyfinal fight, and princess tomato in the salad kingdom EVERY TIME! I would have hopped on that twin fami as well bro. I have always wanted one of those.

Hey John! I saw you at the last So Cal expo in 2019? Shouted out to you while I was standing in the entrance line with my nephews and you came over and took a picture with me and BS'ed for a minute. I skipped this year so I'm loving this recap. Hope all is well!

Really cool video man. It's neat to have the experience of being on the floor. It's good to see the 3 for $10 deals and $5 common NES carts at least some sellers are sane with their prices. Man, seeing that box of high end NES carts was crazy. I don't get the double and triple prices compared to where things were 2 years ago. $100 games are $300 now?

WOW! So many goodies especially NES games great convention. I wish they did something like that here. They only do records fair twice a year and there's no retro stores anymore. If I was there I'll spend several hundreds of $! And to think that before 2005 I had like 300 NES games CIB. I am so emotional that I am without words! Cool video John!👍

I didn't mention it at the time, but we actually had left the center, thinking we might have missed you, and then decided to go back in to do one last walk around to find you before heading home.
