At first you think it's her friend, then someone at the station, but in the end it turns out to be totally the other way around. I am sorry but I disagree with many of the women commenting here - I think it is HORRIBLE that she got temporary sole custody just because hub was cheating - he had NEVER been bad to her or the son other than cheating!!! And then acts all holier than thou to him in public about it! If your spouse is tired of you don't hate them, accept it, stay good parents to the children, and let each other MOVE ON! This movie a lesson is not letting "your best friend" direct your life. So this movie is also about why to NEVER EVER separate decent dads from their kids when the marriage falls apart! I am a grown woman writing this. I almost stopped watching because the movie started to feel like those awful more recent Lifetime movies. But I persisted. But putting all this aside and seeing this one only on the basis of a mystery/crime with a LOT of impefections - it rocks.

If they shared their son, the husband wouldn’t set the house on fire. Let me change the locks, ask for the court order, put one parent in jail, and expect good outcome. This is not how real life goes. Children need both parents

This was an Excellent movie 🎥! I predicted a lot of it, but it was still unpredictable. It wasn't the usual going towards danger ⚠️ asking if anyone's here while entering an open door from the safe outside, when your door should have been closed and locked...
