There are so many angles to comment on this movie. I could say one thing though. The justice system process here is a lot more realistic than fictional stories. You are just left speechless on how it was Lee-Anne who did the police work and the lawyer's work as well. I see a very inspiring side of the story and that is about how solid the family is.

This was so realistic... having studied narcissism for my own reasons one of the tell tale signs is they tell you what they are doing often by accusing others like that scene in the cafeteria at work telling her work buddies about her husband putting tons of sugar in her food and than in the same breath talking about procuring rat poison.. brilliant movie and also the sister reacting so profoundily and so normal under those circumstances.. thanks for this. It’s amazing how much work it takes to motivate the wheels of justice to turn. Its not a wonder so many take the law into their own hands. This lady was practically handing the cops enough probable cause to haul Helen in for questioning. What else did they need, to have it all gift wrapped?
@Southamericangirl423 жыл бұрын
I know, right. Disgusting. Not much difference with Europe. (I witnessed very close to firsthand how they bungled and subsequently dismissed the investigation into a suspicious disapperance and death.) And then to learn they actually have officers go ''undercover" pretending to be violent protesters at peaceful corona government policy protests -it makes you wonder why the heck we still have them. I mean, I know to implode a country you must, among others, shut down law enforcement and I'm sure some cops are honorable, but, my goodness, they're doing a perfectly great job getting folks to loathe them.

A loved one's sudden death tends to numb one's brain and heart, so much that it neutralizes the natural reflexes of questions and actions that could be asked/taken. Homage to the sister who remained coherent and reactive while most mourners were shell shocked and trustful This is one of the most beautiful aspects and really the motor of this story: the sister's loyal love for her brother-defending him through thick and thin to the point of perturbing her own life.

In my country since World Bank offer the loans money to any countries if they have Covid patients, WE CAN'T. because even someone I know that pregnant, gave birth & couldn't pay the hospital, had to signed a paper that read how she is a Covid patient. One of my few close people died with a Covid paper when he's negative in one hospital hours before & no test or report in the next hospital, he died by Covid said by hospital when there's no test but we all found the possibly dying picture of him when hospital cut his hands & hospital didn't know the picture but his family is too scared to fight. Some others also died with other sickness but said Covid by hospital with actually no test ever happened. Some others dying have to be in hospital, but hospital told them to sign the Covid paper. One Covid patient per hospital, means hospital get $20000 alive or not. Government is an asshole satanic beggars that they make most doctors, nurses, Hospital didn't get a proper payment for few years already, so bankrupt, that now they make them to do this to get money, so they can at least afford real treatments and medicines for any patients. The president is real beggar as he asked many president & rich people to bring investment & loans including buy the country's assets, even clearly asking & begging in front of media & in front of others president, including complaint how little the money if it's not reach the expectations. So of course international media won't real expose this truthfully, not even touch the issues. Covid in my country is fake because Covid it's a targeted thing to certain countries, Covid existed here in early days and nothing more. Which is why government & president proudly ask tourist to come even make things easier & cheaper & said "there's no a Covid here" which is why there's no real quarantine for any tourist.

@@Ace-ke7fq my country need surveillance not just in home but hospital, but hide it so we will know what doctors and nurses do to patients. I lost few people already with shady cause & timing. Yeah it's obvious to anyone with empathy how cruel and unfair this evil world is. All the stuff that goes on that doesn't get spoke about because it spoils peoples idea the world is a beautiful show of sunshine and butterflies. Running amok taping and pillaging then if the victim tries to report it they get threats from the perpetrators group of friends they've all associated together with like interests 'to bully and get away with it' I hate humanity for allowing the game to continue.
